    This add-on works fine. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. For videos: right click, open in new tab, choose "download this video", right click video, save as. For images: right click, "save instagram" or right click again, open in new tab, download or copy. Done. Thank the developer.

    Can you please provide details: what is broken? Are you trying to save a video or image, are you logged in or not while using the plugin?

    Works for images but no longer works for videos. They just save as an image of the 1st frame of the video.

    Can confirm as of March 14, 2020 this add-on does not work. I opened the image in a new tab as instructed and repeatedly got the error message.

    Version 1.7 fixes video handling and fixes that the plugin was not working while logged in on Instagram.

    Can confirm, regardless if this used to work or not, it doesn't work now, as most recent reviews will tell you. I live in the United States, if it isn't working here, as it is for many of the reviewers who gave it a poor score, then where IS it expected to work? I see responses mentioning an issue with region/ip so if that is the issue it certainly isn't any of the users' fault and is certainly an issue with the app. As it stands I cannot recommend this, and Firefox doesn't either.

    Update: Version 1.7 fixes that the plugin was not working while logged in on Instagram. Probably that was the case in your scenario.

    Today, this add-on has been confirmed to be working in Europe (UK, NL), USA, Canada, and South America (Brazil). Please provide your Browser version and rough geo location for further debugging.
    This seems to be an issue with different page layouts being served to different regions by geo IP or A/B testing. Please excuse the inconvenience for now.

    Broken, been broken for a long time. Just shows an error that says "Instagram download didn't work. Look elsewhere.
