Just One Small Thing.... Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

I gave it a try. Very nice. But you made one error. The encrypt
takes place in a message box, and that is good. But the part
of the message you want to decrypt might not be in a message box.
In order to use decrypt you may need to copy the message to
a message box first. Set the program so that marked text
can be decrypted. A great program.

Hi FredMcD,

While the encryption needs to take place in some editable/message box, decryption does not. Basically, decryption could take place anywhere, otherwise it's a bug either in the extension or in the website who is (incorrectly) processing the encrypted message.

For example, version 1.4 (released a few days ago and awaiting review as of time of this write) fixed a issue under FB due the message was being split'ed in three sections, header/main/footer so the extension was unable to recognize it. So, i guess that's what you've noticed, either under FB too or some other site pre-formating the encrypted message as HTML.

Here is a quick example to test decryption, the password is your nick:

--- This message has been encrypted using eComm Mozilla Firefox Extension
--- You need to have this extension installed in your browser to decrypt it
--- https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/encrypted-communication/

pgNvyCkrCVJHGNKMYmvUMzCkdDpZx/ndzBxyw1d9rxSzK5Q=

--- End of Encrypted Message

There have been another test message for ages on the "Developer's Comments" section at the bottom of the add-on page, btw.

That said, letting it work over the selected text could be a good idea, but as long the former method works as it should there wouldn't be the need to select the text at all.
