This a simple and much needed feature that should be by default in Firefox with some sensible settings to expire cookies after a week or month or so. The extension description should describe how to use this (go to Addons Manager, select options of this extension).
It is a very useful add-on, but it needs more flexibility. I am giving 2 stars because I would like to have a more flexible time scale to choose from. It would be a good idea to have intervals of less than a week, even an hour. Or to be able to input a custom period of time.
This add-on does exactly what I want. With some other automated cookie deleting add-ons, I was frustrated with some of the "grace period" settings that would either not work or would reset every time I re-opened Firefox.
This add-on has exactly what I was looking for. The ability to hold onto cookies for awhile and then let them go if I stop using them. Perfect, thank you! As stated in another review, this is the kind of thing that should be a default option in Firefox.
A different good approach to manage cookies. Please add the option for delete cookie also once per week and a toolbar icon for do it manually without go to options. The exception cookie list in Firefox is preserved? Thanks.
EDIT:Small bug in Firefox 40, when I run manually the operation the message no more report the number of deleted cookies. See the screenshot here: http://prntscr.com/815aq1
nice one, but users can only set the expiration time to more than six days. its not possible to delete cookies automaticly every day or every six hours, which would be more flexible. anyways, nice one. good idea!
