I apologise. I misunderstood the instructions (they aren't as clear in their intention as they could be). Now it's fixed. And it's PERFECT! Yes, it works beautifully in IceDragon!
Fantastic work, but do you know why isn't this available for Linux? That would be trully awesome =)
Thanks a lot!
You can 'force install anyway' on Linux, but button ui won't look exactly like on Windows, so its for Windows only.
The 'go' button is VERY important & useful so don't have 2 constantly move hand away from mouse 2 hit return key after typing page address 2 visit. Here U just move ya' mouse a bit 2 the right & click the 'go' button. How freaking OBVIOUS is that? The guys who run Firefox really think with their azz. Australis is another Windows 8 style FAIL. 1'st thing U have 2 do is move the tabs below the address bar like N E sane person has them, as saves mouse travel distance & eliminates confusion. STOP TRYING 2 B GOOGLE CHROME! THAT BROWSER SUX AZZ & IS A HORRIBLY BAD UI!
expected this addon to bring back full size standalone refresh button to the left side of address bar, like in chrome, opera or any other earthly browser since the beginning of time. nah, it doesn't do that. it does something, yes, but not that. no options available either.
This add-on is not supposed to do what you describe. It only changes buttons visual appearance iside address bar, like shown on the available screenshots.
Thank you to the developer of this add-on. I thought I was the only one who didn't quite like the new reload/stop button. Instructions are easy to follow and so far it works flawlessly.
Sieht toll aus. Aber bitte auf für Linux lauffähig machen.
Looks great. But please make it work in Linux as well.
thank u so much
Aris simply has it together! It seems that every day Mozzlosers do something dumb and members of the community come in here and either restore things or give us some option that was even better than the original.
Aris is one of those developers who simply rocks and rolls! Keep it up!
Thanks, this is a great add-on. A question: is it possible to modify it so that the reload button is always blue? I don't mean changing the add-on for everyone, but can I change it for myself somehow? Anyway, thanks!
Edit: Wow, thank you! I appreciate it! :D
This is possible ;-)
Get the modified version from here:
FF17; look @ the 3rd Screen Shot.
the TWO (2） Reload&Stop buttons must be PASTEd beside the URL to activate the .xpi Program.
Yes, it does work on Windows. Look at the third image on Add-ons page how to make it visible!
Tested up to FF16.0a1.
Thank you for this addon.
The Mozilla devs seem to keep finding ways to annoy me with every new release of Firefox. Apparently, "Rapid Release" also means "change for the sake of change". Thanks for eliminating one more annoyance. :D
Thank you! I wasn't a fan of Mozilla's change to the stop/reload/go button in FF. Visually, the button just faded into the background and made it harder to act on visual cues without thinking. While I could rely on muscle memory, using your extension gives me a brighter cue about the status of my pages.
I find the faded reload button of FIrefox 9 confusing and uninformative.
Wanted this feature got it thanks to Aris the developer of this great addon. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
