Threadsmith Privacy Policy

Threadsmith Toolkit is a free, unofficial browser extension for supported LoreWeaver pages. This policy explains how the extension handles information.

Information collection
Threadsmith does not transmit, sell, share, or remotely collect personal data, browsing history, analytics, telemetry, or LoreWeaver account information. It has no developer-operated server or advertising system.

Local processing and storage
The extension runs locally in your browser. It stores only feature preferences, remembered public Showcase URLs and internal world identifiers, and read-only public Showcase text and remote image addresses in extension-local storage. Images are loaded from public LoreWeaver addresses.

Threadsmith does not read or store passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, payment details, private messages, full story conversations, Lore entries, or account settings. The Bulk Manager temporarily reads visible Loom thread names and summaries in page memory so the user can select and review them; that information is not stored or transmitted by Threadsmith.

What the extension does not do
Threadsmith does not vote, comment, download worlds, report content, make payments, or perform account actions. It does not use private LoreWeaver APIs or developer keys.

User control and deletion
Every feature is optional and can be disabled. Removing the extension clears its extension-local data according to the browser’s normal extension removal behaviour. Loom thread deletion is initiated and confirmed by the user and is permanent on LoreWeaver; users are instructed to create a backup first.

Mozilla Web Store Limited Use
Threadsmith’s use of information received from Mozilla APIs complies with the Mozilla Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Independence
Threadsmith Toolkit is a fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by LoreWeaver.
