QReact reads QR codes from images and creates QR codes from any text, link, or page — entirely inside your browser, with nothing sent anywhere else.

Read a QR code
Right-click any image on a web page and choose "Read QR code in this image." When the code is not an image at all — drawn on a canvas, an SVG, a frame of video — choose "Read QR code on screen" instead and QReact reads the visible part of the page. Either way the result opens right in the popup: the full decoded text in a readable monospace font, a Copy button, and — where it makes sense — a second button such as Open link, Send email, Call, or Open in Maps. Several codes in one image are all decoded, each with its own buttons. Links are always shown in full, never shortened, and QReact never opens them automatically — you decide after seeing exactly where they lead.

Create a QR code
Click the toolbar icon and either generate a code for the page you're currently on, or type any content you like. Right-click an image, a link, or selected text to generate a QR code for it in one step. Advanced options (error-correction level and output size) are picked automatically based on your content, editable if you want more control, and remembered for next time. Every generated image keeps the ISO/IEC 18004 quiet zone, uses crisp integer-pixel scaling, and is at least 512×512px.

Built for privacy, not convenience theater
Every read and every create runs with code shipped in the extension package — readable, auditable, never bundled or minified. Reading a QR code from a web page never downloads that image: QReact measures where it sits and reads those pixels from the tab, so nothing is ever requested from a server. There is no backend, no third-party QR-scanning API, no analytics SDK, and the extension keeps working with your network fully disconnected. It asks for no access to any website — only the tab you are actively using, at the moment you invoke it.

The interface is available in English and Vietnamese (toggle in the popup, auto-detected from your browser language) and follows your system's light/dark appearance automatically.
