Twitch+

Twitch+ is a lightweight extension that strips Twitch down to what actually matters: the stream and the chat.

Everything is toggleable from the popup, so you stay in control.



Ad blocker

Integrated TwitchAdSolutions userscript (vaft) for ad blocking.

Uses the advanced vaft method to reduce or bypass Twitch video ads while keeping streams playable and stable. Runs automatically in the background with no additional setup required.



Pure Black Background

Replaces every surface on Twitch with true #000000 black.



Clutter Removal

The following elements are hidden by default, each with its own toggle:

• Live Channels section in the sidebar
• Viewers Also Watch section in the sidebar
• Recommended Categories section
• Following tab in the top navigation
• More Options (ellipsis) button
• Prime Offers button
• Bits button
• Gift a Sub button
• Subscribe / Resubscribe button

Autoplay Controls

Twitch+ can prevent Twitch from automatically playing videos in places where playback usually starts on its own.

Each autoplay behavior has its own toggle.

Front page autoplay

Stops the featured stream on the Twitch homepage from automatically starting playback.

Offline channel autoplay

Prevents offline channels from automatically playing featured or recommended content.

VOD autoplay

Stops VODs and archived videos from automatically starting playback when opened.



Third-Party Emotes

Loads and renders emotes from:

• 7TV
• BetterTTV (BTTV)
• FrankerFaceZ (FFZ)

Supports both global and channel-specific emotes.

Emotes are fetched once per channel visit and rendered inline at a consistent size.

Can be disabled with a single toggle.



Chat Features

Click to pause

Click anywhere on the video player to play or pause.

Double-click is ignored.

Auto-claim bonus points

Automatically clicks the bonus channel points button the moment it appears, so you never miss a claim.

Deleted message reveal

When a moderator deletes a message, the original text is shown instead of the placeholder.

Deleted messages are:

• Highlighted in red
• Marked with a trash icon
• Still fully readable

URLs in deleted messages are clickable.

Copy message button

A small copy icon appears next to the reply button when hovering over a chat message.

Clicking it:

• Copies the message text to your clipboard
• Preserves emote names as plain text
• Shows a green checkmark confirmation on success

Chat timestamps

Adds local timestamps before newly received chat messages.

Format:

• HH:MM:SS

Hide chat badges

Removes badges shown before usernames in chat, including subscriber, cheer, founder, and event badges.

Only the badges are hidden; usernames and chat functionality remain unchanged.

All features are controlled from the extension popup by clicking the toolbar icon.
