There's even a way to change the order of the search engines, and the search content can be edited. Great, an absolute must have!
The only problem is the right click-left click options. Sometimes it all opens in an open new tab and sometimes in a background new tab, regardless of the fact that I put "open in new tab" on left click and "open in background tab" on right click.
That seems to happen only for imported search engines, like the English versions of Yandex and Yandex Images, imported from my browser.
How to add Google Images/Image Google though? Can't figure that out.
PS: I managed to do it indirectly by installing the first "Damian" plugin from:
https://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=google+images
And then by importing my browser's search engines (the ones in the Search Bar), and deleting the surplus engines added. But there must be a more direct way?
I imported Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com the same way: https://mycroftproject.com/dlstats.html

but it took me 10 minutes or so and now i have it compact as i wish, and with 2 custom search engines i prefer.

In my case, I like to do searches in Perplexity. The situation would be the following. first select a text, second modify or add more information for your query and third just press enter to open the search engine which in my case is perplexity, it would also be good if the text prompt was not reduced when eliminating search engines
