Sobre esta extensión
Shop without bankrolling oligarchic power.
Oligarchic activity — the concentration of wealth and political influence by corporations — shows up in your shopping cart every time you buy from a retailer that funds it. NOligarchy scores retailers so you can see it before you spend.
Each score measures three things:
- Political access — federal lobbying spend, PAC contributions, and executive donations across election cycles
- Wealth extraction — CEO pay ratio relative to median workers, stock buyback activity, and aggressive tax avoidace
- Playing by the rules — regulatory violations, penalties, and government subsidy dependence
All data is sourced from public FEC filings, Senate LDA lobbying disclosures, and government records.
When you land on a product page at Amazon, Walmart, or Target, NOligarchy automatically finds the same product at competing retailers and ranks them by score — so you can redirect your spending toward companies that concentrate less power.
What it doesn't do:
- No tracking of your browsing history
- No collection of personal information
Full methodology and score breakdowns at noligarchy.com.
