Even after all the AI advancements and reduction in prices they still decided to throw their free users away and make this extension only work for premium users.

Doesn’t the data you have obtained from your users seem enough? They also want them to pay to give them data, what a shame.

ça peut encore le faire.

Mais passée à un modèle payant en se justifiant par des fonctionnalités peu utile aux utilisateurs de base et recourant à une "pseudo IA" que n'importe quel autre modèle gratuit et grand public dépasse largement et le tout en collectant encore plus de données...

Purée d'arnaque pour rester polis. L'extension était gratuite depuis des années que je l'utilisais et maintenant il faudrait que je paie ?!
Nul, ne l'installer pas, il y a d'autre correcteur gratuits sous Firefox. C'est franchement dommage que la cupidité de certains ait gâché une si bonne extension.

Much the same complaint as everybody else, they took a decent free spellcheck, added a bunch of 'premium' AI 'features' for a free trial, and then locked even basic functionality behind a paywall. I'll be switching to another spellchecker, even if that's just typing everything in LibreOffice first and pasting it over.

Like others have said, it used to be great until they decided to go payware.

Used to be good, now just another greedy AI company. I don't even want the free trial, I want the old version back.

Was real helpful before you had to pay for it. Now it is useless for me, I can not afford to pay for this, I will be removing this add-on and putting on my list of not to ever add again, this will also be for the Learneo Services, because they will drop you like they just did with this add-on.

This used to be a good extension that I used on a regular basis.
Although it wasn't perfect and I had to add a lot of words to the dictionary, it still did its job.
But after they made it completely paid, it became absolutely useless.

Went from being a wonderful tool to now only usable if you're a premium user. It's a terrible change no matter the reason. I will be uninstalling and finding another spell checker.

Was great until it forced me on a "premium trial" without even notifying me and then wouldn't even let me go back to the regular version and I was forced to uninstall. Real scummy.

I know that open source don't means free/gratis. But I dislike the way this product become less acurate in the time and how marketing justify why browser plugin will be a premium functionnality. As a teacher, I was advising my students to use it... now, I'll advise them to use Grammalecte.
