Anybody can recommend replacement that allows convenient playback speed control with ctrl+mouse wheel in x0.1 increments with speed limit at x4 or higher?
Another important thing is control of saturation and contrast. Please help!

The version 3 on chromium based is pretty good, but this is all buggy and bad. Not using again until the firefox version is updated.

I've been using this for years and I finally took the time to look through what this add-on ACTUALLY offers and WOW! Always use this add-on if you love yourself.

Extension is abandoned by the developer.

It's great at increasing the video size... When it works. When it doesn't, there's no button to press that will make it realize it didn't work.

All was fine until I heard that support for Firefox was halted indefinitely. Very disappointed, honestly. Might as well take it down at this point.

I love this extension, and it's my hope you'll reconsider releasing v3 for Firefox. Even if it's a sideloaded release if that's possible (not on AMO).

For people looking for alternatives, "'Improve YouTube'" could be good. Not sure of the features comparing to this but it does offer themes and other customization options!

It used to work, now seems to be abandoned with the dev saying the new version 3 will not come to Firefox. I can say after uninstalling this addon, Youtube performance is much better.

I don't use all of the options. love it.

This used to be a wonderful extension and I think it still can be, but for me the toolbar will not show up on nearly any videos while I'm signed in.

I know it must be difficult developing this to adapt to changes on Youtube, but at this point it is only a CSS skin extension, and nothing more.

I hope it is fixed eventually, but it's been some time now with no fix in sight.


Update; 23 February 2025:
clips are now broken, forcing them to play the original video instead of the clip. the CSS skins also seem to work only occasionally now, and the controls and other functionality still rarely show up on videos, and when they do work, it will never be on more than one tab at a time.

I also found that while the features rarely work, the bug where clips don't work is always there.

I have tried this with all of my other extensions turned off and in private browsing. it far more often than not does not work. the only thing that seems to improve its functionality is not being signed into my google account, but even this is hit or miss.

I really hope this addon gets the love it deserves, but for now I am reducing my review to 1 star and uninstalling because it brings bugs but effectively no features.
