Sobre esta extensión
Cookie Transfer copies named cookies from a source site (e.g. your production or staging domain) into the active tab's domain, so you can
reuse an existing logged-in session across environments without signing in again.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Developers testing the same app on localhost, staging, and production
KEYBOARD SHORTCUT
Default: Alt+Shift+C. Change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts (Chrome) or about:addons → gear → Manage Extension Shortcuts (Firefox).
• QA engineers reproducing session-specific bugs in mirror environments
• Anyone tired of re-authenticating every time they switch environments
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the options page and set a Source URL (where the cookies live) and the cookie names you want to copy (e.g. session, auth tokens).
2. Navigate to the target tab (your local app, a staging mirror, etc.).
3. Click the toolbar icon — or press Alt+Shift+C — and the configured cookies are copied to the active tab's domain. The tab reloads
automatically.
FEATURES
• One-click copy from the toolbar or keyboard shortcut
• Configurable source URL and cookie name list, stored locally
• Smart attribute handling: downgrades SameSite=None on HTTP targets, strips invalid domain attributes on localhost/IP targets, preserves
httpOnly and expiration
• Same-origin guard prevents accidentally overwriting live cookies on the source domain itself
• Status badge shows OK / ERR / SAME after each run
