por Faust, hace 2 añosIt’s quite ironic that an ad blocker designed to eliminate unwanted commercial spam ends up opening its own unwanted commercial spam. I understand the need to monetize, but opening a new tab to push a subscription offer feels intrusive. Most people are already overwhelmed with numerous subscriptions and don’t want to add another. This approach undermines the very purpose of using an ad blocker in the first place.

There is no obligation to upgrade, and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. When you remove it you can answer why you removed it. Choosing not wanting to pay it says you don't have to pay, it works anyway. But that's a lie. When installed they say it won't work as well if you don't subscribe.

publicado el hace 2 mesesTo troubleshoot, click the AdBlock icon in the browser's toolbar > Gear icon > Filter lists tab. Confirm you are subscribed to EasyList and Anti-Circumvention filter lists. Click 'Update now' to fetch updates to your filter lists. Reload any pages with ads. Every single time I open firefox in a hurry to research something and I am done typing... oh... there is the big huge adblock window blocking me from continuing my tasks and everything I typed well... it did not get typed... Yep, I will disable and remove adblock today and move on with something else that is not this rude.
