Sobre esta extensión
POCLAB Privacy Report turns your Firefox privacy setup into an easy-to-understand health check.
Instead of just telling you how many trackers were blocked, it looks at your core privacy settings, calculates a score out of 100, and explains what to change (and why) to harden your browser without drowning you in jargon.
What it checks
POCLAB Privacy Report reads a handful of built-in privacy settings and summarizes them into a single posture report:
Tracking Protection & Cookies
Enhanced Tracking Protection mode (e.g., always, private windows only, off)
Cookie behavior (trackers, third-party cookies, partitioning, allow-all)
HTTPS & Network
HTTPS-Only Mode (always / private windows / disabled)
Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal
Fingerprinting Protection
Whether “resist fingerprinting” is enabled to reduce unique browser signals
Extensions Surface Area
Number of installed extensions (excluding this one) to highlight overall attack surface
Password Saving
Whether Firefox is configured to save website passwords by default
Camera & Microphone Hygiene (manual)
A gentle reminder system for how often you’ve reviewed which sites have access to your camera and microphone
Clear step-by-step instructions for how to review and clean up those permissions in Firefox’s own settings
A “I reviewed camera & mic access” button to log the date of your last review
What you see
When you open the extension, you get:
A privacy score out of 100
A posture tier: Relaxed, Balanced, or Hardened
A brief summary sentence explaining what that score means
A “Fix these first” section with 2–3 high-impact recommendations, each with:
Why it matters in plain language
Exact steps to change the setting in Firefox
Detailed cards for:
Tracking & cookies
HTTPS & network
Fingerprinting protection
Extensions
Password saving
Camera & microphone review cadence
It also tracks:
Last full privacy check (how many days ago you ran a report)
Score change vs your previous check (e.g., “Today: +5 points vs your last check”)
