Flincth turns one browser tab into a workspace you can arrange.

Keep websites side by side, save your layouts, and switch between workspaces with a click or a keyboard shortcut.

WHAT IT DOES
• Split one tab into up to eight panes, starting from six layouts.
• Enter a website address or search terms in each pane. Searches use Firefox's default search provider.
• Follow links inside a permitted embedded pane. Its address bar follows the current URL, and its Back and Forward buttons navigate independently of other panes.
• Save named workspaces and switch between them from the toolbar popup, workspace tabs or keyboard shortcuts.
• Double-click a workspace tab to rename it. Delete it with the tab's close button; deletion confirmation can be disabled and re-enabled in Settings.
• Move a loaded pane without recreating its page. The live page, form entries and scroll position stay with it during the move.
• Reload or reopen a workspace at each pane's latest saved destination.

LAYOUTS AND WORKSPACES
Drag dividers to adjust pane sizes. They snap to even splits, useful proportions and nearby divider positions. Hold Alt to resize without snapping, or use the arrow keys on a focused divider.
Workspaces can stay loaded up to the limit you choose in Settings. Unloading a workspace or explicitly reloading a page can lose unsaved page state.

FIREFOX COMPATIBILITY
Firefox enforces websites' restrictions on embedding. Flincth's Firefox build does not remove X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy headers. Sites that refuse embedding may not load inside a pane; use an attached browser window or a normal tab for these sites. Browser storage policies can also affect embedded sign-in and consent.
Attached windows can align when the workspace is resized or refocused. Dragging the main browser window does not continuously realign them in Firefox. Universal embedded-site compatibility is not guaranteed.

WEBSITE ACCESS
Firefox uses optional site-by-site permissions. Grant access when assigning a site to an embedded pane. If navigation reaches another origin, additional permission may be needed. Manage and revoke site access in Firefox's add-on settings. Normal website tabs and attached windows use the browser's normal browsing context.

PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS
Workspaces, settings and each pane's latest URL are stored locally on your device. The temporary per-pane Back/Forward list stays in workspace memory. Flincth has no account, server, analytics, telemetry or crash reporting and does not upload workspace data.
The tabs permission lets you choose an open tab, focus the existing workspace and resolve searches through a temporary inactive tab. The search permission sends your query through Firefox to your chosen search provider; the temporary tab is closed afterward.
The scripting and webNavigation permissions support bundled navigation code only in permitted direct frames of Flincth's registered workspace tab. This code reads pane URLs and handles navigation; it does not read page text, cookies, passwords or form values or run in ordinary website tabs. No remotely hosted extension code is used.
Websites you open, including search providers, remain governed by their own privacy policies. Flincth does not copy cookies or sign-in data or bypass browser storage restrictions.
Export and import workspaces as a local file. Uninstalling removes local extension data.

KEYBOARD
Assign up to four browser toolbar shortcuts to your preferred workspaces, and configure workspace shortcuts in Settings.
