■ Behavior on Firefox (important)
Firefox's browsingData API differs from Chrome's, so this extension behaves as follows on Firefox:
- Service Worker registration / CacheStorage: removed per the target tab's hostname (origin-scoped precise removal is not supported by Firefox, so it falls back to hostname scope).
- HTTP cache: because Firefox's removeCache API cannot be scoped to a specific origin, clicking clears Firefox's entire HTTP cache (the Chrome edition clears only the current origin).
In all cases the page is reloaded bypassing the HTTP cache afterward. Since the click is an explicit user action, the behavior above is within the intended reset.
