Clauseboard brings those passages together around one decision.

Select text on a webpage and use Save quote to Clauseboard. Assign the passage to a question and classify it as a benefit, limit, exception or unclear point. Compare these categories side by side. Every saved passage retains its source title, URL and capture date. Your interpretation is displayed separately from the quoted wording.

To revisit a source, open its link and use Check saved Clauseboard quotes on this page from the page context menu. This checks the top-level document's visible text for saved passages with the same URL. Whitespace and Unicode presentation differences are normalized. Nothing is monitored in the background.

A not-found result is not proof that the text changed. Collapsed sections, dynamic content, login requirements or iframes may hide a passage. Restricted browser pages cannot be checked. The extension does not bypass page restrictions, make legal judgments or offer an AI verdict.

Add passages manually, search saved passages and notes, export a Markdown decision brief, and back up or restore JSON data. Up to 200 passages are stored locally. No account, analytics, server or cloud sync. Private-window captures are ignored. Export backups before removing the extension.
