13 supported reading languages

CastReader supports 13 reading languages, now including Dutch, Russian, Korean and Arabic. It detects the content language automatically, lets you correct it manually, and provides selectable voices. You can choose the explanation language separately.

The four additions offer 15 named standard voices with portraits and previews, including free and Pro options. Arabic highlighting and annotations follow right-to-left text. Personal voice cloning keeps its existing language limits.

Kindle Web availability depends on the edition; compatible source files can also be opened in the document reader.

Privacy

How to start

1. Open a webpage, Kindle book, or document.
2. Click CastReader or the headphone button on the page.
3. Choose Read Aloud or Explain.
4. Listen while the original text stays highlighted in sync.
