API Keys: Your API keys for Google Gemini or OpenRouter are stored locally in your browser's secure storage (`chrome.storage.local`). They are never sent to our servers.
History: The extension saves a local history of your recent generations (up to 50 items) solely for your convenience. This data remains on your device.


1. AI Processing

To provide the text optimization and generation features, the specific text you select and trigger the extension on is sent to the AI provider you have configured.

If you use Google Gemini, data is sent to Google's API.
If you use OpenRouter, data is sent to OpenRouter's API.
