Sobre esta extensión
Your bookmarks should follow you—not lock you into one browser.
Relay keeps native Firefox bookmarks and folders current with supported Chromium-based browsers through an end-to-end encrypted vault. Bookmark titles, URLs, folder names, profiles, and restore history are encrypted on your device before upload. Relay stores the encrypted vault, not a readable bookmark library.
KNOW WHAT NEEDS ATTENTION
Open Relay to see whether this browser is current, whether action is required, and the single best action to take.
• Preview changes before Relay updates Firefox
• Preserve Firefox Toolbar, Menu, Other Bookmarks, Mobile, separators, duplicates, folders, and sibling order across browser families
• Review both bookmark libraries before syncing
• Save a substantially different local library as a separate encrypted profile instead of blindly combining it
• Restore the local state captured before a sync with Undo
TOOLS FOR REAL BOOKMARK LIBRARIES
• Keep work, personal, research, or client bookmarks in separate Profiles
• Use Tidy to recognize common tracking and mobile URL copies and organize loose bookmarks locally
• Add another Firefox or supported Chromium browser through a guided sign-in and review flow
• Use Auto-sync and encrypted restore history with Relay Pro
PRIVATE SIGN-IN
Enter your Relay username so Relay can locate the correct encrypted vault, then unlock it with the password saved in your Recovery Kit. Your password derives the vault key locally and is never sent to Relay.
Passkeys are deliberately unavailable in this first Firefox release while Relay completes a dedicated signed-extension WebAuthn flow. Password and Recovery Kit sign-in are complete and remain the recovery path.
RECOVERY YOU CONTROL
Relay creates a private Recovery Kit containing the username and password needed to unlock the encrypted vault. Save it somewhere you control. Relay cannot recreate a lost Recovery Kit.
SHARE ONLY WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Create an encrypted Context Capsule to share a bookmark collection with an optional expiry, import limit, and revocation control. Recipients can preview the collection and download a standard bookmark file without creating an account.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
• Relay does not require a legal name or email address
• Bookmarks are encrypted on your device before upload
• No advertising, tracking pixels, browsing surveillance, or cross-site tracking
• No content scripts, browsing-history permission, tab-reading permission, or broad website access
• Optional technical and interaction data can be declined or revoked without disabling sync
• Account and encrypted cloud-vault deletion are available inside Relay
• Deleting Relay cloud data leaves local Firefox bookmarks untouched
Free includes 2 browser installations, up to 500 stored bookmarks across profiles, and manual sync.
Relay Pro adds more browsers, larger bookmark libraries, Auto-sync, and 30-day encrypted restore history.
Different browsers. Same bookmarks. Encrypted on your device.
