GrailVAULT Browser Extension - End-User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and Genesys Research & AI Labs ("we", "us"), which publishes GrailVAULT, for the GrailVAULT browser extension (the "Extension"). By installing or using the Extension you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. Licence
   We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Extension on your own devices, for your own use, together with a GrailVAULT account. We keep all rights in the Extension that we do not expressly give you.
2. What you may not do
   You may not: (a) copy, modify or distribute the Extension, except as the law allows; (b) reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code, except where the law gives you that right despite this restriction; (c) use the Extension to attack, overload or get around the security of GrailVAULT or any other service; (d) remove notices about ownership; or (e) use the Extension for anything unlawful.
3. Your account and your data
   The Extension works with a GrailVAULT account. Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key built from your master password, which we never receive. If you lose both your master password and your recovery key, we cannot recover your vault. Your use of the service is also covered by our Terms of Service (https://www.grailvault.in/terms/) and Privacy Policy (https://www.grailvault.in/privacy/), which form part of this agreement.
4. What the Extension does
   The Extension reads sign-in forms on the pages you visit, only when you click its controls, to fill a login or to offer to save one. It talks only to https://app.grailvault.in. You are responsible for checking that a page is the site you intend before you fill a password.
5. Updates
   The Extension may update automatically through your browser's add-on store. Updates are covered by this agreement. We may add, change or remove features.
6. Ownership
   The Extension, its name, logo and code are owned by Genesys Research & AI Labs and are protected by law. Your vault contents are yours; we have no rights to them beyond storing them, encrypted, so we can return them to you.
7. No warranty
   To the extent the law allows, the Extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limit of liability
   To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a lost master password or recovery key, a compromised device or browser, or events outside our control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this agreement limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending this agreement
   You can end it at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We may end your licence if you break this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using the Extension and delete it from your devices. Sections 6 to 8 and 10 continue to apply.
10. Law
    This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to use your local courts. Please write to us first so we can try to solve the problem.
