Sobre esta extensión
Gorilla Bridge brings the passwords from your Password Gorilla database
(Password Safe V3 format, .psafe3 files) into Firefox. Find the credentials for
the site you're on, copy them with a single click, or fill the login form
directly.
How it works
Firefox can't read a file from your disk on its own. Gorilla Bridge uses a small
helper program you install once — the native host — which reads your database
READ-ONLY and talks to the extension over Firefox's standard native messaging
channel. Your database is never modified; it stays fully under Password Gorilla's
control.
What it does
Unlocks your database with your master password, which is never stored.
Lists and searches your entries, and automatically surfaces the ones that match
the site you're currently visiting.
Copies a username or password on demand. A copied password is automatically
cleared from the clipboard after 20 seconds.
Fills the login form when you ask it to — never automatically, so a hidden page
can't trick it into leaking credentials.
Locks itself after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Privacy
Gorilla Bridge sends nothing over the internet. There are no servers, no
accounts, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind — everything happens on your
computer. Your master password and your decrypted passwords never leave memory
and are never written to disk by the extension.
Requirements
Firefox 140 or later (desktop).
The native host (a small Python 3 program), installed once. Step-by-step
instructions are included.
