FramioCam por Ratul Hasan
Turn any screen into something worth sharing — screenshots, recordings, mockups, click-zoom video, exported in seconds.

Sobre esta extensión
FramioCam turns raw browser screenshots and raw screen recordings into something worth sharing — in seconds, on your own machine, inside your browser.
Most extensions stop at capture. FramioCam is a full studio: take a screenshot or record a tab, a screen, or a rectangle you drag, then wrap it in a macOS or Windows 11 window frame, set it on a gradient backdrop, zoom where you clicked, place your camera where you want it, annotate, and export a pixel-perfect PNG or a finished MP4.
If you’ve ever captured something and had to open Figma, Canva, or a video editor just to make it presentable — FramioCam is built for you.
What You Can Do
Why Install FramioCam?
Figma Speed in 1-Click: Creating beautiful product mockups for changelogs, release notes, or landing pages takes seconds instead of minutes.
Your Media Stays Yours: Screenshots and recordings are captured, edited and exported on your own machine. They are never uploaded anywhere — the only thing that leaves your browser is a licence check.
What You See Is What You Get: The preview is not an impression of the export. Both are drawn from one description of every placement, level and effect, so what you arranged on screen is what comes out of the file.
Free To Start: 50 free captures before a free key is needed, and a free account for video export.
Pixel-Perfect Scaling: Layout controls, border widths, and traffic lights scale dynamically for 1080p, Retina, and 4K displays.
Who is this for?
Product Managers: Create striking visuals for changelogs, release notes, and product decks.
Developers & QA: Annotate bugs clearly with step counters, redact sensitive credentials, and speed up issue resolution.
Technical Writers: Build clean, professional, and consistent screenshots for user documentation and tutorials.
Marketers & Creators: Share high-end screenshots on Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and blog posts to drive engagement.
Free Licence, Capture Limit & Video Export
Screenshots are free for 50 captures, which is enough to try every part of the studio. After that, activate a free licence key — grab one in seconds at framiocam.com — for unlimited captures.
Video export asks for a free account, because exporting video is what a plan is measured in. Free exports come out at 1080p and carry a small FramioCam mark; a licence removes the mark and lifts the resolution. Everything else in the video studio — recording, editing, previewing — works before you sign in to anything.
Privacy & Permissions Disclosure
FramioCam takes user privacy seriously:
activeTab, tabs, scripting & host_permissions: Needed to capture the layout of the active page and to render screenshots of it.
tabCapture & offscreen: Needed to record a tab or a screen, and to encode the video without a visible window doing the work.
downloads: Needed to save your finished mockups, videos and ZIP archives to your computer.
storage & unlimitedStorage: Needed to remember your studio preferences, pinned screenshots, capture history, licence key, and the recordings you have not exported yet — video is large, which is what the unlimited part is for.
notifications & contextMenus: Needed to tell you a recording finished, and to offer capture from the right-click menu.
Your Media Never Leaves: Screenshots and recordings are captured, edited and exported on your machine. The only request FramioCam makes is a licence check, which carries the key and an install identifier — never your media.
Zero Tracking: No telemetry, no third-party cookies, and no remote asset storage.

What You Can Do
- Advanced Capture
Visible Viewport: Instantly capture what is on your screen.
Full-Page Stitching: Scroll and stitch long pages into a single high-resolution image.
Batch Capture: Enter a list of URLs to capture them in a queue, then edit and export them all at once.
Keyboard Shortcuts: Capture with simple hotkeys (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + 3 or 4). - Screen Recording & Video Studio
Record What You Choose: A tab, your whole screen, or a rectangle you drag — what falls outside it is never recorded. With optional microphone and camera.
A Camera You Can Put Anywhere: The webcam is one picture on the frame. Drag it, resize it by its handles, from a lapel bubble up to the whole frame, as a circle, a rounded square or a square wherever it sits. Click either picture to bring it to the front.
Layouts That Place Both Pictures: Choose a side and the recording and the camera both move there; nudge either afterwards and it stays where you put it. For the whole project, or for one section.
A Section Can Show Just One: Hide the recording for a talking head, or the camera for a demo, on any clip — the rest of the video is untouched.
Automatic Click Zoom: The editor watches where you clicked and zooms there, so a demo follows itself. Every zoom stays editable.
A Cursor You Can See: Recording a tab leaves no cursor in the video, so FramioCam draws one from where the pointer actually was — resizable and recolourable afterwards, with a ring on every click.
A Real Timeline: Multiple clips and lanes, split, trim, drag, ripple delete. Play a clip, or the whole project, from 0.25× to 4× — sound keeps its pitch.
Fades & Transitions: Fade a clip in or out through two dozen effects, from a plain dissolve to wipes, spins, slides and turns.
Sound: Import audio tracks, set volume and mute per clip, add fades, and lock tracks so they move with the picture through a cut.
Export How You Need It: MP4, WebM, animated GIF, or a still PNG of any frame. - Pin & History
Pin for Later: Pin up to 10 screenshots and reopen them in the Studio anytime — no recapturing.
Auto History: Your last 10 captures are kept automatically so nothing gets lost between sessions.
One-Click Reopen: A dedicated Pinned tab in the popup — click any saved shot to load it as the active frame.
Privacy Control: Turn history off entirely with a single toggle in popup settings. - Professional Backdrop & Styling
Curated Gradients: Choose from dozens of stunning mesh gradients, solid colors, or set your own custom hex code.
Subtle Noise Overlay: Apply a soft film grain to eliminate color banding and give your image a premium matte texture.
OS Window Mockups: Wrap screenshots in macOS (Light, Dark, Glass Outline) or Windows 11 (Light, Dark) headers with realistic window controls.
Ambient Light Refractions: Drop realistic light overlays like Leaf Shadows, Sunset Glow, or Window Grid for a modern, organic studio finish.
Watermarks: Add your own custom brand watermark in five positions. - Precision Annotations & Zoom
Auto-Incrementing Step Numbers: Drop numbered badges to show step-by-step guides (perfect for tutorials and bug reports).
Magnifier Spotlight: Drop a zoom bubble over key details and scale magnification up to 5x.
Redaction Blur: Securely pixelate/blur sensitive information like passwords, emails, and API keys.
Full Vector Drawing Suite: Annotate with Arrow, Line, Rectangle, Circle, Highlighter, Pen, and customizable text boxes.
Undo / Redo: Full history stack for every annotation, with Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y shortcuts.
Layout Adjustments: Crop your screenshots dynamically; the window mockup will instantly recalculate and snap to your crop boundaries. - Multi-Page Queue & Exports
Thumbnail Queue: Capture multiple pages and switch between them. Drag and drop thumbnails to reorder before downloading.
Direct Copy-to-Clipboard: Copy the finished high-res PNG and paste it straight into Slack, Discord, Notion, Figma, or Linear.
Export All as ZIP: Bundle your styled mockups and download them in one package.
