kudos to the devel for a great addon! We've been using this successfully for over a year. I can confirm that latest version causes thunderbird to freeze on our linux ltsp system, but this was caused by an abrupt change in google's api and a complete overhaul by the devel to the addon. Once the bugs are ironed out, I'm sure it will be as great as ever. Until then, I can confirm that Brian and Brunoc68's suggestion to re-install prior versions for now works perfectly on our linux-ltsp system (several users with several privately "shared" google calendars).
One note ... be sure to use the .25 and not the .32 version if your thunderbird is version 24 or earlier! I noticed some reviewers indicating that they tried the .32 version and I tried that, even so far as to crack it open and change the minimum thunderbird version to 24 instead of 25 (linux deb repository offers thunderbird version 24), but it kicks out a "corrupt file" error on install. However, version .25 still works fine without the necessity of changing the addon in any way.

I've installed, re-installed, updated, etc ... Thunderbird on literally dozens of computers in recent years and this is one of only a couple of add-ons that I automatically install once it's up and running. It fills a very basic need for most business users and it does it extremely well with a great deal if flexibility. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
