Old Location Bar

"doesn't work for me. it still display my bookmarks sites."

Ok, open the "OldLocationBar.jsm" file again and change the line:
prefs.setIntPref("browser.urlbar.default.behavior", 16);
to
prefs.setIntPref("browser.urlbar.default.behavior", 32);

This reduces the search only to entries that have been typed in manually in the address bar.

Here is the fix for all the people who don't want to type the www. in front of every url:

Close Firefox.

Browse to your extension folder (inside your profile dir). Find the right directory for Old Location Bar (on my system it's {3205B348-523A-4fac-9BC4-9939CBF583B0}). One step deeper into the chrome folder. Edit the file "OldLocationBar.jsm" (with e.g. notepad).

Change the line prefs.setIntPref("browser.urlbar.matchBehavior", 3);
to
prefs.setIntPref("browser.urlbar.matchBehavior", 2);

Save the file.
Restart Firefox.
Done.

Thank Stephen Osborn for pointing me into the right direction *g*

www in front of an url... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please disregard the www before URLs. Most URLs still use a www. and it's a pain in the ass to always have to write it.
