It looks good but no button or icon in FF 6.0.2. Am sure the developer is aware of this based on seeing other comments about it. I also emailed to the support email provided.
I have been needing something like this for ages. I like this indeed. Works well. The one thing that does not work the way I thought it would from looking at options was "titles." They just copy the same URL. Might be a compatibility working issue with Firefox itself. I do not know.
Simple and clean. Good replacement for the outdated SnapLinks (fails with Firefox 3.6). FF seems to lag a bit. probably using up extra memory with Multi Links. Will keep testing. Right now, a 5er! Keep it simple and clean folks. Liking it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
I agree that since 3.6 it has not worked right. I submitted using Addon Compatibility Reporter for Firefox. I am about to check this links package, Multi Links (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13494) until Snap Links gets, if it does, updated.
Use this if needed to try and get it working:
It actually did not work for me on my first try. Latest FF. Downed this addon last night. I was typing in a board and accidentally closed the browser. This should fall under "other things that can go wrong while you're entering forms" bit.
I am not going to uninstall it, as it could have been a fluke. Just the ability to restore the text was blank.
I give it a 3 right now but will review again next update FF's addons find for the plugin on their own.
I have been looking around for an anonymity anonymizer for Firefox (current 3x). I checked out the link above, http://anonymization.net, and Trend Micro sees the site as a treat and blocked it saying "undesirable" and its credibility "dangerous". Now, I can disable it and try it on another unit with different security measures of mine, but hey, the program has not been updated since 2006. I am an advance power users, but not worth the try right now. BUT... if these people come back, I would like to see what they got.
Oh, and to add to my review, this was tested using Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7.3 on Firefox 3.0.7 on Windows Vista Ultimate SP1.
Peace and pizza, palies!
I liked but no matter what I did, it kept reopening every, single tab I had opened. Not my previous session as it was supposed to.
I uninstalled it for now and will post in their official boards about it and see what happens.
Other than that, I have a few suggestions for it as well when it comes to grouping tabs that I shall post as well.
All in all, if the tab issue I had does not affect anyone else, a good addon to have as far as I can see.
I can not wait for the new features. One I think would be when opening a site in a new tab, it goes auto to its group.
Trying it out tonight and like the way it is grouping at the moment.
Thank you for making it. I look forward to seeing updates you got planned.
Awesome! Spell check and snapping links! Excellent. It works (so far)!
When I use the hack method of changing the version, my spell check in FF3.1 is disabled. This addon worked fine with my FF2. Upgraded 2 PCs to FF3 and realized this addon not work. Tried the hack and it does work under FF3.1, but spell check is disabled. Words are still with red underlines, but no option to correct their spelling. Anyone else have this?
