I have used the add-on for a long time, am totally satisfied and can also acknowledge that it works on TB5.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Nice idea, but it does not work well: With my profile in German, several categories like e.g. photos were not archived at all. After I changed the FB language to English, the main photo page was archived, but not any albums. :( In general, umlauts and other language-specific characters are encoded wrongly. As it is, the add-on is unusable for me. I hope it will improve over the next few weeks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1-signed).
Lazarus worked well for me for months, but lately it blocks FF on start-up and on other occasions. After a long while FF asks me if I want to stop the Lazarus script because it is eating up too much resources. Maybe this is because I often have open tabs with long WordPress articles in it. Obviously, Lazarus has problems with maintaining a large database, but this is just a suspicion. I think Lazarus should have a setting by which to exclude some domains or URL patterns from being indexed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.5).
Since FF 3.6 there is the problem of Ctrl-F4 closing two tabs at one when this add-on is installed. I registered at the author's TRac system, created a ticket, but his spam filter will not let me upload the debug infos he requested. When I asked for his e-mail address several times, he refused to send it to me. How stupid is that? I wasted so much time helping to debug this add-on and he just ignores it because he is so afraid of getting spammed by me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.3).
Great add-on, good job.:) I especially love the regular expressions, because they are so powerful. I had to extend the filter definitions to cover all my cases of unclean subject lines, though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4).
There still are the same bugs mentioned before. I mean the ones of which the author said more than one year ago that tey would "be fixed soon".
Furthermore, trying to highlight a table row kills cells. Even "undo" cannot bring them back.
Ruler Bar works well in my environment (mostly text-only messages, others not tested yet), but I had to play around with the settings (e.g. scale of marks) quite a bit to make it exact for my font (Lucida Console, 11 px) - 135%, by the way.
I would suggest to improve the add-on in a way which enables automatic calculation of fixed font widths.
