Needs updating for v24+
Shame, very useful add-on - 1 star until then
Tasks doesn't appear. Kind of a clincher for me, so I'm back to the web app instead. Shame. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.8).
Scrap my last review. If you're looking for Google Calendar/Task support give up and install this add-on instead: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/google-calendar-tab/ - essentially a browser tab inside Thunderbird.Regards,This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0b4). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Google Tasks synchronisation please, otherwise 5-stars.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0b4).
Philipp, I think I love you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1).
Opened it up tonight to use and it's broken.
I then assumed because the donation button appeared I was using it under some kind of subscription. And that had run out?!
I think I'll revert back to the previous version in the meantime.
Useful plug-in dude. Would consider donating if this was fixed.
MASSIVELY useful add-on. Disappointed earlier today to see it's no longer supported in Thunderbird v3.0.4. Would totally donate to the cause if that's what it takes.
4-stars until further notice... :[
Import feature please!!!
So today I found out what was crippling my Firefox performance...
Use websites you trust and vote with your click finger if you don't like them is my advice. This add-on ain't worth it IMO.
Cripples FF performance drastically. Try enabling/disabling for yourself if you don't believe me.
Won't be using it again (or for a while at least).
Win XP Pro, FF 3.5.4
When are we going to see an import mail feature!!!
Love the add-on dude - very useful.
One issue I think needs some consideration though: The default save names are way too long. If backed-up they never come back out of a WinZip file properly; so are lost.
I mainly use this tool for saving arbitrary screen shots of websites I've worked on. If I back them up I have to extra vigilant of the save names I use - above and beyond the default - which is a hassle TBH in my book (simply for arbitrary screen shot files anyway).
Could you simply base your default save names on the web page title or something instead of all the complex characters?
Hope this is useful.
I echo the rest of the positive comments for this add-on - so thanks. However I'd like to see an import back in feature in the future, otherwise this would get 5 stars.
Is there a Thunderbird 'Inbox' directory lurking somewhere on my hard disk I can drop the saved .eml files back into?
i was born feb' 1985 - i am 23 years of age. why does this tool say i am 24?! http://tinyurl.com/35hv7w
i almost had a heart attack until i got the trusty pen and paper out and consulted my flatmate.
before i install this add-on again i'll be checking this comment to see if it has been acknowledged and put right!
