My most essential addon, but the "fixed" version from github referenced here didn't help me with the Urlbar problem. On a blank tab, there's still no reaction when I enter something in the address bar. However, after clickinga bookmark to open a new tab, I can use the Urlbar again... FF version 34.0.5.
While now apparently unsupported, this still contains some excellent working buttons and can replace a number of individual further extensions. Once installed, you will find the "Sort and Search Customization Dialogs" addon very helpful! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1-signed).
This is such a time and nerve saver, especially with the popular Toolbar Buttons 1.0 extension, which adds a wagonload of extra buttons all on its own to make the dialog really confusing. Should be standard FF behaviour!
Many thanks for this excellent piece of work!
... you need these:
Oh, I thought of some more requests - please include:
- a toolbar button
- a global hotkey, and
- an entry in FF's 'file' menu
all to create a deskcut to the current tab.
Highly useful, but could be easier to get to: Please, please, please add a toolbar button for deskcutting the current page!
Excellent, excellent extension. Please allow options for those not using either "bookmarks toolbar", "unsorted bookmarks" or the "up" button to hide Flat Bookmarks' button bar completely. Also, can the sidebar caption "Bookmarks x" be hidden so that the breadcrumbs bar would be at the very top of the sidebar?
Sadly no longer updated, but you can still get it to work using the 'Nightly Tester Tools' Addon. Even better, install the Stylish addons and try one of these - or both ot them together for enhanced effect:
Great, but desperately needs a toolbar icon for those of us who have hidden the FF status bar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
