Tangofox

2.8, love it but a small problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars

On FF 18.0.2, TF makes the go button in the URL bar disappear. Doesn't do it on FF 3.6.28. Didn't test any other versions. If I disable TF, the go button comes back, but when I re-enable TF it disappears again. I tested with all other add-ons disabled except TF but still no go button. A great theme overall though, thank you!Update: I tried TF 2.7 on the portable FF 18.0.2 and it's all good now. I'll try it on the installed version of FF when I get home and report back if there's a problem, but it should be fine now.

Update2: Got home and it still did it, so I played around and figured out you have to leave the reload button, to the right of the URL bar, alone. I reinstalled FF and left it where it was this time and all is working fine.

Tab Utilities

Problem solved Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Problem solved, toolbar Buttons has a config setting that forces about:config to open in a new tab.

Tab Utilities

Nice Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is definitely a nice add-on. I like the option to auto-close unintentional blank tabs. Tabs Mix Plus could supposedly be customized to prevent unintentional blank tabs but it never has really worked very good. This is a nice alternative.

My only wish is that it would open toolbar buttons in a new tab. For example, I use a lot of toolbar buttons from the TBB add-on, and whenever I click the one for about:config it opens in the current tab. Maybe there's already a way to make it open in a new tab but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Thanks!

It's still not working for me in FF4 with Windows Vista.

Just installed, seems to be working perfectly in Vista. Thanks a lot.

Simple Green

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one I definitely hope gets an update. I think it would look really nice in FF4. Forcing compatibility doesn't work for this theme. Everything gets screwed up.

Yes, I too hope an update for FF4 is in the offing.

ScrapBook

Small problem with 1.4 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

For some reason the toolbar icon in 1.4 doesn't seem compatible with the Modern Modoki 3.07 theme. I'm talking about the one you get from the Customize Toolbar window. I can drag it to the toolbar and it inserts itself with no problem but all you see is a blank space. It works and everything, you just can't see it. I resorted to "Show in menu bar" but it doesn't seem as handy as the other one, which opens the sidebar with only a click. I have another profile which uses the Simple Green theme and it's okay. I tried an icon repair but that didn't help. This is only a minor inconvenience though in an otherwise outstanding add-on, but I think I'll go back to 1.3.7 for now.

Good idea for an add-on. Thank you!

CacheViewer

Excellent Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wish I had found out about this one a long time ago. :-)

BetterCache

Nice Add-on Rated 4 out of 5 stars

With this add-on you can easily change the browser.cache.check_document_frequency setting which normally has to be done in about:config. This alone makes it worth having. I use it together with the CacheViewer add-on which shows mime-types that you can then use in BetterCache. This add-on is tremendously useful on sites like Google Books if you have dial-up. It only saves two or three pages at a time so if you're reading along and want to go back a few pages you have to wait for the whole damn thing to load again. Just set BetterCache to save the mime-types you want and set "Check pages for actuality" to Never and you're golden. :-)

Walnut for Thunderbird

One of the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the best themes going for Thunderbird. It's clear the designer put a lot of thought and work into it. Usually after I've installed a theme I still tweak quite a bit to get the desired effect but with this one there's virtually nothing I would change. If the reviews are any guide, Walnut2 seems to be attracting more attention these days but this one's still my favorite.

selectivecookiedelete

Thank you! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect add-on. Does exactly what I needed and couldn't be more simple. Just uncheck "Cookies" Firefox's "Clear history when Firefox closes" and Selectivecookiedelete manages cookies according to your preferences.

Remove It Permanently

Awesome-add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It seems to be working okay with FF 3.6. If you don't know what an XPath, IFrame or Wildcard is plan on spending some time educating yourself as there's no Help to speak of. But it's worth figuring out; you can remove almost any unwanted content from web pages with this add-on. My only gripe, like some others have mentioned, is frequently the whole page has to load before it blocks; this defeats the purpose. If you have a fast connection you probably won't even notice. With Adblock Plus you never see blocked content again regardless of connection speed, so I don't see why why this one shouldn't be able to do the same.

Modern Modoki for FF 3.6

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please don't change the scroll bar; that'll be a deal breaker for me. The one and only thing that could use improvement in my opinion is the progress panel as someone else mentioned. Getting rid of the line that displays just to left of it would improve its appearance.

It's definitely GREAT to see MM is back. No more forcing installs and the Tab Mix Plus 'Open new tab' button is finally visible. Life is good. :)
