I too would love Download Statusbar to be updated or an similar alternative created. It provides a much more informative interface to downloading. I'm actually surprised that something hasn't come along sooner.
However, Using DNubs at this point is very risky behavior. There is no information about it: no Mozilla addons page, no real description, no author, no contact, no source, no "independent" reviews, nothing. It could be doing just about anything in the background. Until the author provides more verifiable information, installing DNubs amounts to taking a pill handed to you by a stranger at the drugstore who showed you a picture of the happy folks it cured of X.
Googlesharing was uploaded to GitHub (https://github.com/DisruptiveStudies/GoogleSharing) in early Dec. '10, so that's a good sign! Maybe someone else will start contributing code. (I haven't a clue how, unfortunately.) Version 0.20 doesn't work with Firefox 4(b11) though. :-( It just puts "Loading..." in the Add-on bar, loses the proxy, and won't allow a new one to be added. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.20). Works as advertised in FF3.x. Will this be updated to work in FF4?This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Pretty cool. Thanks for the good work. It might be nice to both minimize the status bar real estate and (somehow) make it more obvious what the numbers represent without needing to hover.
I understand the tab concept is changing in FF4. Will this add-on be updated to work with it?
Why waste space on two buttons when they'll never both be active at the same time? This add-on is a no-brainer. I hope it is updated for Firefox 4 (not sure if it'll be necessary).

This should be build into all Mozilla products. Very nice. Please update to work with Firefox 4!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.14.8).
I've been using ABH2 (and it's predecessor) for years. It's pretty good, but I get weird issues editing the entry on OS X (can't edit name until URL field is entered and then go back, arrow keys don't work when editing, etc.).
Will this be updated to work with Firefox 4?
I love Aardvark! Will it be updated to work with Firefox 4?
It was working fine as long as you accepted the self-signed certificate for SSL, but something in the last few days has broken some Google services. With GS on, I can no longer do product searches/shopping or Google maps. I haven't checked all other services. Shopping gives a:
Your search - <search terms> - could not be completed with the requested search options. Reset search tools
and maps has a blank map area with only the links at the top of the page. In both cases, disabling GS and reloading results in normal function.
I love the concept, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who views Google as useful (if not necessary) but certainly dangerous.
I can't get this to work with SSL though because the certificate is self-signed and thus untrusted (and "invalid"). Firefox offers no means to accept the cert, only view it. Any chance of getting an authoritatively signed cert and/or assistance accepting/importing the cert?
5 stars for concept minus 3 stars for the cert problem with no heads-up.
This version works (for me) with 3.5 if with the maxVersion in the install.rdf (inside the .xpi file) changed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.8). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
This is a fun add-on. Any chance of updating to work with FF3.5?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).
I hope this one gets updated for the new version of Firefox (3.5).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Simple and effective. I really hope this one gets updated for the new version of Firefox (3.5).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.8).
This one add-on is all that's keeping me from upgrading to FF 3.5 betas. Don't worry about the "Open Browser Proxy Settings” button bug - it's not necessary for basic functionality. Please update! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2009.03.28).
