Hi, thanks for the response.
I have a 24" monitor, with a high resolution. I do generally keep Firefox in a window with width of 1024 px but the problem was apparent with short or long subject lines, and when the window was maximized.
v2.1 does fix the problem of the labels not working, but unfortunately at the expense of screen real-estate. Even at 24" every pixel is precious ;-)
The Collapse All button isn't available at the top of every conversation in v2.0 or v2.1, but it is available in v1.0. I've taken screenshots of all 3 versions which show this, if you want to receive them. The first message in conversation is often expanded (for instance if the first message is starred) and it's useful to have the Collapse All button always available to instantly collapse the conversation and so see the latest message.
I've given an extra star for the prompt response and fixing the problem with the labels, but I'm still on v1.0.
I have had to revert to v1.0 as the new styling seems to break the ability to click on a label above the email for navigation, or click on the X next to the label to remove it from the current conversation.
Also, I'll have to check this in v1.0 again but it appears v2.0 doesn't have the "Collapse All" link permanently shown at the top of every conversation. I find this particularly useful.
How relieved was I to find v2.11 on another site, so that I could go back!
v2.15 was a total disaster, as someone else has mentioned, especially for existing users, it is extremely annoying to find bookmarks added without permission!! The only way I could forgive this would be on a totally fresh install of Fast Dial, and then it would still knock a point off for rating
v2.16 still adds a search bar that I don't want or need and I cannot make it open Fast Dial on a blank page.
I have reverted back to v2.11 and disabled update check for this Add-on. IMHO the developer(s) should also roll back to v2.11 and work out how they could so misjudge what users want, otherwise the rating will continue to plummet while people come here to write about their annoyance.
Great idea, although perhaps the visual confirmation could be clearer.
Also AFAICT the menu option which was necessary before having this extension installed doesn't get toggled when clicking this toolbar button - that would be good to reassure the user that it has worked.
This is one of my favourite add-ons, even though it's so simple :D
So, 2 things:
1) I usually have my browser over to the right of the screen, so it would be very useful to be able to choose in prefs whether the window resizes from left (as now) or right (i.e. move the left border)
2) Is a Fx 3 compatible version to be released soon I'm currently on b5 but will be onto RC1 asap.
