Love it, miss it, hope you'll fix it.... soon. Tried the rest, this is the best (by far), nothing else will do.
Damn you Mozilla for breaking this extension!!!
Linkificator is an excellent replacement alternative for Linkification. A great convenience, and works as advertised. Thanks MarkaPola! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.3).
Without a doubt, Lightning is nearly as essential as Thunderbird itself in my day. The integration of Lightning and Thunderbird is an unbeatable combination. Thank you for maintaining and improving Lightning. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.3). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Works perfectly. A definite time saver. Thanks Mehtuus! This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I have backed up and restored everything from an individual component of my profile, to my entire profile, more times than I can count. FEBE has NEVER failed me! I use Firefox on 3 PC's, home, work, and play. FEBE Is a very convenient tool for syncing my bookmarks, add-ons, and/or my entire profile on all three PC's. It only takes a few minutes to keep all 3 up to date. There is an active forum for FEBE support should it be needed, a very well documented web site, and Chuck Baker has always been very responsive. FEBE is VERY highly recommended!
In my opinion, after trying all of the alternatives with the functionality of this add-on, this is the best in it's catagory, and it's features are superior to it's competitors. My Firefox, did update via the built in update notice, however the update was dated Feb. 17, and the update took place March 6. THIS IS NOT THE AUTHORS FAULT, AND HE DOES NOT DESERVE THE BLAME, OR THE DEDUCTION OF STARS. It's a Mozilla issue. This add-on deserves 5 stars. It's very well written, does what it claims, is intuitive, and again, does it better than any of it's competition. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.0).
Contacts Sidebar will quickly become an indispensable Add-on, placing Address Book access and features in a sidebar on TB's main window. I configured mine to display contacts, along with their mobile, home &amp; biz phone numbers in columns. You can adjust the spacing between columns to make the sidebar compact. Double clicking on a contact will open a new Message Window, adding another means, and making it that much more convenient to write new email to your contact.
Unfortunately, this Add-on has not been updated on this page for some time, and for some unknown reason. The Add-on is alive and well on the authors web page in the form of "Pre-releases".
<a style="color:#006620; background-color:#fff9ab" class="linkification-ext" href="http://extensions.sanjer.nl/index.php?page=tb_cs_prerelease" title="Linkification: http://extensions.sanjer.nl/index.php?page=tb_cs_prerelease">http://extensions.sanjer.nl/index.php?page=tb_cs_prerelease</a>
I would certainly encourage the author to place an update here on the official Add-on page.
Be a little patient for Jeroen to catch up on major TB version updates, it's well worth it!
Lightning is the single most important addition to Thunderbird's productivity. It has become indispensable in my daily work, and organizational ability. Despite the occasional bump in the road, the development team continues to improve, fix, and add features. I look forward to the future of Lightning, and thank the developers for sharing it with the community. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).
Delete Site History offers a convenient way to edit your history instead of manually deleting each instance of a site, or deleting your history as a whole.
Cye3s, please take a couple of minutes to update your Add-on version so that folks who don't know how to edit the RDF file can enjoy the benefits of this extension.
I have been hoping for the inclusion of, or an extension that would add this feature to Thunderbird, for a VERY long time. This is very much appreciated. THANKS!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).
Thanks for rescuing this extension from the abyss. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.4.EVE10.0a1).
This Add-on definitely fills a need. It would be very helpful if the eCleaner window could be resized by the user, or at least made larger for those having a large collection of Add-ons. I look forward to continued development. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
This is a very convenient tool that fills a few voids in FF. It could potentially fill the void of Extension Manager Extended (abandoned) as well. Please consider providing the extension ID and location within the Add-ons Manager view, eliminating the need to right click and bring up a new page, unless an XPI creation is needed. Thanks for providing this extension! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6).
Excellent!! LavaFox V1-Blue is a fully skinned theme, with great compatibility, and in a word, beautiful. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Thanks Zigboom! Great imagination, and great work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I have been hoping for improvements in TB's search function for quite a while. The is a significant improvement in search usability. THANK YOU!
A nice cosmetic improvement would be a searchbar that expands as you type, similar to the function of the Firefox extension "Searchbar Autosizer".
I'm giving this a 4 star rating because I believe that it is well written, and it's development is in it's infancy, allowing that goals are in flux. However, without Address Book integration, I don't see this extension being useful for my needs, or my business needs. With integration, this would be a STELLAR addition to Thunderbird.
This is outstanding. Thanks! There is another similar extension, but it can only select messages by author, and not by subject. With both options, all of my needs are covered. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
Fireshot does NOT work in Thunderbird 3. I have confirmed this on 2 computers, using TB 3.0.2 and 3.0.3. It worked fine on TB 2, and the betas that followed. Editing the RDF does not fix the problem. The requirements at the top of this page should be changed to reflect that, or hopefully the extension will be updated. I still give it 5 starts for it's Firefox implementation, and the hope that the authors will fix the problems with TB 3. It's was one of the most useful TB extensions, and my personal favorite. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.81).
Nuvola slows TB down greatly when opening an mail here, by several seconds. I am using TB 3.0.3, with all extensions disabled, except for the Nuvola theme. I don't know if the problem exists only with the latest TB, or if this is a combined problem. If I disable Nuvola, mail opens in 1 second. With all extensions enabled, and Nuvola disabled, again, mail opens in 1 second. Note that this does not affect TB startup time in any way. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8).
Works as expected with FF. It would be GREAT if it worked with Thunderbird 3.x.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.2009110201).
