Nice tweaks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
[review for star rating only]
initial issue with no noticeable bar [solved] Rated 4 out of 5 stars
With the default "width" setting, i couldn't see the progress bar, having placed it at the bottom. Changing the "width" setting to about 50% i can now see the thicker bar. Perhaps the default setting for the width should be 100% instead of the current size?
And rather than labeling it width, label it thickness (or depth) instead?
Meanwhile, i like how when the bar indicates that the page has finished loading, the color fades out. Neat.

nifty! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works very nicely as a shortcut for the search feature, which i use a lot; and i like the colorful icon. More nifty work by the Button Guy, much appreciated! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).
Delightful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
While i've only had this installed for a day now, so far it's a pleasure to have onboard to work with. In the past i'd used the option of having the Add-ons manager open in a popup window, but had lost that for some reason. This replaces that nicely as a drop-down at the click of a button, making me a less aggravated user once again ;-) .
The use of sliders for enable/disable is neat + Having System installed addons identified is as well + I appreciate having the option, within the SAM Settings, to customize the size of the drop-down + I also appreciate having the options of what appears/doesn't appear in the drop-down + Nifty that it includes the versions of each of the installs as well (i was using an addon to get that in the default) + The inclusion of an option to disable/enable all is yet another plus + as is the scroll positioning remaining in the previous position when the drop-down is closed & reopened!
* Popup tool tips for the SAM buttons would be appreciated; i was clueless what the bottom right hand corner button was for (while leery of clicking it to see, i did and found out it takes you to the Moz Add-ons homepage; my best guess was that it was some sort of download button, say to externally back up extension list)?
* Presently i can't get the Search feature (which i +value having as an option btw) to work. i've entered text and clicked my keyboard's Enter key but get no response; am i missing something? (here a tooltip would have helped as well, as i thought the button following the search pane was the search button; turns out, apparently it's a list refresh?)
* I personally would like to see the addons version numbers background with a lighter color-- closer to what's used for disabled plugins presently; with maybe grey used instead for disabled to match the slider (making the colors user selective would be even more awesome?)
Thanks for the nifty addon! #appreciation

#appreciation! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Valuable addon to have for controlling popups. I especially appreciate having toolbar button access to the features. I also value having the Gentle option. Very nice to no longer have so many popup ads happening.
**update** something between the latest version of both the addon (6.3) and Cyberfox/Firefox (50.0.2) has the toolbar icon issue resolved for me presently! Thanks for all the work Mojtaba.
I am experiencing one minor issue: the toolbar button won't stick to my toolbar after a restart of my browser. After every restart I have to go back into my browser options and replace it to the toolbar. Any ideas? (it's the only one doing this, out of my 38 other buttons)
Wolud luv to see this one updated... ? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I would luv to see this addon updated for the latest versions of Firefox/Moz browsers! ??
fwiw, i am indeed getting the Console errors regarding UserData nodes with Cyberfox v49
Informative and beneficial Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Very informative as to giving a behind the scenes look. Most beneficial to give control to the user. (kudos to the author for a nicely done equally informative Add-ons page as well!)
fwiw, to the author: I am getting the following in my Cyberfox v49 Browser Console:
TypeError: browser.currentURI is undefined
toolbar button, please!? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I wanted to put in my feedback that mirrors the last two most recent reviews. I like what I've seen it do, but the lack of a button for the toolbar for accessing the lists keeps me from giving it 5 stars.
Last update broke something for me Rated 5 out of 5 stars
fwiw/fyc/jic: For me, the latest update (Feb 03 v0.9.8.36) broke the addon for me. i began experiencing persistent browser window flickers, tabbed pages drastically slowed down (practically unusable), and noticed gradual large incremental RAM usage increases. Disabling the addon eliminated the problem immediately for me (RAM cleared up with a browser restart). Prior to that, i'd been using the addon with no problem, with the same additional other addons. Basically reporting this in case others experience it and to make the author aware. I experienced it with browser version 43 initially, but still when updated to v44 now as well. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8.36).
Very nifty! (and "No Restart"!) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks for a very nifty addon! The capture feature is unique in my experience with reverse image searching & works nicely. Luv that's it "No Restart" too!
Easily a 5star addon.
(considering the name, are there any plans to add Google Image as an option?!)
One question about the "capture" feature: should there be a way for a member of TinEye to save captures made with the addon to their TinEye account? Each time i've done a capture, it opens to TinEye's website with the capture, but says i have to login in order to save it --even with having already logged-in in another open tab prior to doing a capture using the addon? i've not been able to figure out how to do a save of a capture? It would be even niftier if that was an added feature!?
**edit to add**
The developer posted this regarding my inquiry on how to perform a capture instead of using a url even when the url is available:
"Just place your mouse outside the image area, when capturing item appears, select it and then use this option to capture the image instead of sending its URL."
(Jeremy, perhaps you'd want to include that in your description instructions for the addon? Meanwhile, thank's for the personal instruction & including that option with the addon!)
now working for me* ? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
If i'm understanding the function of the addon correctly, it's not working for me with my setup*. I'm assuming that by "the search bar" we're talking about the default Search pane in the default Main toolbar, correct?
To test it, I typed in a search term in the pane while on the Moz Add-ons page open in a tab. When i clicked enter, the search opened in this same tab instead of a new tab. Any ideas?
Meanwhile, i went into about:config to: browser.search.openintab --and changed the default "false" to "true" and since, my search results open in a new tab. ?
* i'm using 41 other addons, but none of which are Search feature specific/focused (that i'm aware of); plus i'm running Cyberfox x64 v42.0.1 (fwiw, of my other addons i've found zero issues due to Cyberfox --thanks)
Looks promising... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I like what I see with the addon, but as already reported, it presently (2015.02.14) messes with the Menu in Firefox 36. Instead of the Menu dropping down fully, only a minor part of it displays. Quick as I disabled Switchy (thanks for making it restartless!), the Menu displayed normally again.
*apologies if i overlooked a report location preference other than here*
Awesome + request Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an awesome addon. #appreciation to the author!
Like another user here, I too would like to have more specific customizing options regarding individual buttons/icons appearing in the toolbar. Or perhaps at least a "wrap" option?
One reason for me is that 3 other addons that i use also place buttons in this toolbar on the top row. With those and this addon's buttons, in order to view them all I have to have a impractically wide Compose window open. Narrowing the window results in some buttons being non-accessible. There's additional room in the second row at least, but it can't be accessed or customized etc (hence, a "wrap" option might help?).
Thanks again for an awesome addon & consideration of our requests!
[btw, fwiw i'm running Earlybird (Aurora) v35 & have found no issues--tho i've not used every one of the advanced options e.g. MathType]
Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
**update** (of prior version review)
Success!! Update version 3.4 makes Search Site addon work again for me with Ffox v 24(beta)!! Excellent.
Highly recommended addon (and developer!)
broken with Ffox v24 ? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Nifty idea, but unfortunately it breaks with Ffox v24(beta). When i click the icon, the expected popup balloon opens (to the default "Arrows" options). When I click on the dropdown character option button the popup goes totally blank. Nothing in the popup balloon, it's empty, and it stays that way when reopened.
I tried reinstalling it and sure enough, the Arrows option displayed, but clicking the dropdown selection option resulted in yet another blank/empty popup. :-(
(two stars = one for the idea & another that it's restartless!)
==review update - version 0.2.11== Rated 5 out of 5 stars
...as of version 0.2.11 (2012-07-11), VTb is back to viewable for me with Ffox 16.0a1 (2012-07-11)!
kudos for the quick & timely update of a nice addon --especially for wide screen monitor users and/or multi-addon/button power users! :-)
(note: I don't use the "auto-hide" feature some have commented on, so can't say as to that specifically)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
ditto confirmed @kar_ram: stopped working with Ff16.0a1 (several days/updates now) :(
5 stars for it when it did work! Thanx--
regarding Nightly builds Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I give this addon 5 stars because up until the past two days it was among my favorite tweaking addons. **Let me first note that the developer does not state that it should work with the Nightly (latest) builds**. So this is more of a headsup review. Because up until the past two days, for me it has worked flawlessly with Firefox versions 11 and 12.0a1. Now it doesn't crash or cripple Ffox, it simply no longer puts the toolbar up where it was putting it. Granted, a coming Nightly update may correct this, but for now it's mostly broken. I sure hope it can be fixed, either way!
Fantastic! Awesome! Thanks!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I can't begin to say enough about this addon; it's friggin' awesome!! Thank you DW-dev!!
Contrary to an earlier reviewer, I experienced no problems using it with Firefox v11.0a1 (and having about 47 other addons installed; running on Windohs XP).
[and coupled with NitroPDF and the option to Print To File, it's practically a no-brainer to get webpages as PDF files!]
Sweet! (+future feature?) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Sweet add-on! I count it among my most fav ones. (I was spoiled by having the "Highlight Text" addon that's since, no longer supported)
feature request: ability to customize colors (Highlight Text had this) :^)
issue: on occasion, after I've selected a section of text, then click Highlighter, the highlight extends beyond the precise selected text; undoing it and selecting/clicking it results in the identical behavior.
caveat: I occasionally drag'n'drop text from a webpage, so it could be occurring with those; I'll have to monitor it further; [apologies if I missed the "support section" for issues]
Again, nice add-on! I appreciate it!!
