One change is needed Rated 4 out of 5 stars
After right-clicking and selecting "Search Dictionary for ...", it should then open the dictionary window so I can read the definition without clicking on the window's tab. If I am looking up a definition of a word I don't know, I'll want to read it immediately. By the way, I'm getting some kind of "file time out" prompts since I installed this extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I find this to be a highly useful extension. I added it to both Thunderbird and Firefox. Although many years of education, I still find many many many words I don't know the meaning of... I think I missed that course! Thanks very much for this great extension! I've found it works quite well both in Thunderbird and Firefox! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
A request (and thanks!) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I absolutely love this add-on. Thanks Jaap! Was wondering though, is there any way to increase the number of engines beyond the just the 4? I'd love to have another 2 or 3 or 4 (or more) sites that I could add! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
Simply on of the best extensions Rated 4 out of 5 stars
An excellent extension. I use it daily.
I was just about to make an extension myself (since the Swedish encyclopedia www.ne.se, haven't realised the advantages with contemporary Internet solutions), when I thought maybe there are some settings for this extension and there was all the answers to my wishes.
Great because I'm not much of a programmer :D
More than just a dictionary search! Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It's too bad the comments from previous versions don't carry over when a new version is released. Several versions back, one user posted a series of search links for Thesaurus, Google Maps, and Encyclopedia. It was just a matter of cutting and pasting that info into the fields in DictionarySearch. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
One Of My Favs Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I use this add-on constantly because I must of been absent the day they covered SPELLING in school! It's one of my 'must haves' for Firefox. Thanks for making my day(s) easier! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I get nearly all my news and product reviews online along with the other stuff you typically stumble across while surfing around. I would also like to think that I have a reasonably good grasp of the English vocabulary. However, several times a week I will find words online that I am not familiar or have never saw before.
Many times you can get guess at what the word generally means simply from the context of the sentence. DictionarySearch quickly and easily takes the "guessing" out of the situation. Simply highlight the word that you wish to define, right click, select to define and another window pops open with the definition(s) of the word and a thesaurus! By clicking on the speaker icon you can also hear the word is properly pronounced.
This add-on is very unobtrusive. You won't even know that it's there. But when you stumble upon a word you have never seen before it certainly comes in handy. Works flawlessly!
