Firefox 4??? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really loved this downloadmanager. Clean and easy, but when will you make it compatible with FF4? This one is simply the best!
Thanks in advance.

Wow I used this addon for ages but I often had to kill firefox in the task manager to fully close it. I never thought Custom download manager was causing this bug. I really never saw that one pixel line before I read the reviews.

Sadly this addon is not compatible with firefox 4 anyway so that's a good reason to move on. I hope the dev will be able to fix that bug and make it works with FF4 though.

One pixel line window Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Took me ages to figure out that it was this addon that was the cause.
Would be really nice to if there was a fix for the one pixel line topmost window.

Buggy problem observed as well Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice add on but sometimes the alert does not close and remains on the screen (one line); closing firefox still has this alert on screen and firefox held active - you need to go to task manager then to kill firefox to release it.

Would be nice to see a fix.

feature request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi!
There is an option (mine is in french) which is +- "show manager at download start"
What do you think about adding the exact inverse (should be quite easy):
"Show manager only when a download is finished"
.. I would be interrested in this...

btw overall good job - thanks!

Nice but buggy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There is a little bug for me, when the downloads are finished, the notification keeps a small line, which doesn't close with Firefox and the Firefox process remains in memory. :-[

Thanks & enhancement suggestions Rated 4 out of 5 stars

First of all, thanks Gabriele for this cool add-on !

I especially like the search bar and the two tiny buttons on the right of each download in the list !

I also have a few suggestions for enhacements that you may want to consider, please:

1) add a "Clean List" button that would remove from the list all but only the items that have been removed (there is no containing folder associated anymore)

2) append to the button tooltip "Open containing folder" with the actual folder name (so I don't have to open it to check ;-)

3) when a multiple selection is made in the list, make that the "Clear List" button actually only does a "Clear Selection from List" (and possibly adapt the button+icon accordingly)

4) allow some level of "Undo" when doing removal actions from the list (for instance buffer all the changes as long as the window is open), or at least for the LAST remove action.

Thank you very much for considering these enhancements. You will get my support, promised !

I too prefer this addon to "Download Manager Tweak". That one is archaic looking.

I used to use "Downloads in Tab" until it got outdated. It had feature I really liked, which was the ability to choose the position of the download tab as either the first or last tab in the tab bar.

This is the only feature I really want added to this addon.

AWESOME! =D Really! The ONLY thing I have found that can block that friggin' annoying as fukall hotsnail redirect 2 MSN every time I log out =P Even pops page sayin' 'couldn't log U out (when hit 'J' button), but it's a lie - I AM logged out & can go back 2 other accounts =)

2 PROBLEMS (I have noticed, but there may B more) with this addon:

1) Need 2 give the user the option of individual buttons or combined drop-down menu type button (can just include both sets in 'customize' area)

2) Need option 2 auto-reload pages when image button is clicked (so when enabling images, don't need 2 go hit the reload button as well - saves time)

request: Could you add a "Max concurrent downloads" feature?

Powerfull...can you rename tab title to Downloads instead Custom...?!?

request: Could you add a option for "move tab to first" when one puts download manger in a tab. It would do wonders for organization b/c the download tab will always be in one place and you wouldn't have to search for it when you have many tabs open. Other than that keep up the good work

"Custom Download Manager" and "lget" (direct download) together should be a built-in Firefox feature.
