Gave it one star because its required to post. First, it has no built in version tracking. So it will update on you to a version that is defective if you don't catch it. Then after that it hung on me and crashed FF so I queried TS and was told to revert to a previous version. That worked until it caused a major lock up. Then I had to reinstall the OS and with it new extensions in FF. Installed the same version that I was using before and it just ate years of bookmarks off two machines. When it was Foxmarks it did its job and was so unobtrusive that I forgot it was there. Use the pain FF sync instead. It'll cause you less grief. And they have they nerve to ask for money for this!
This has to be the slowest extension that I have ever used. Prior to updating from an earlier version of FF that supported another add-on that will not work with later versions, what I previously had would open a PDF in seconds. So I've just set the application panel to use Acrobat itself. Can be any slower. It's not, by a long shot. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.236).
I have been using this add-on for quite some time and am constantly seeing that the information that it renders is often very wrong. I just eMail AccuWeather.com and the monitoring station for my area, a part of a large metropolitan area, is many many miles North of our city center. So that means we do not get accurate weather or storm reports. Which in our part of the country can vary severely from mile to mile. This is not a good source of weather information by their own admission. It is pretty though. That's why one star. Too bad it's not better connected to the areas weather stations. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
It keeps telling me that I have been outbid when I am the only bidder and winning. eBay made me change my user login, there is no place to make these kinds of changes in the add-on. For the longest time there was a little, very little icon and link for the app and in 3.6.10 nothing. I had to manually install a larger icon with access arrow. Otherwise no way to get to the app. It's just as easy to go to the pages manually and get what you need. Nothing amazing here. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
