If you actually look at it, the date is in chronological order. :-) look at the first number, not the overall date.

It helps to keep them in proper chronological order. So, you could ask the developer to make it save the date for the files in that format. Would make it a lot easier to look for something specific if you know the correct date and its easier to find.
