Remove Duplicate Messages (Alternate)

Phenomenal! (Plus one Suggestion) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Saved my life, thank you _so_ much.

One suggestion. In Options, comlement the ability to compare "Number of Lines in Message" with the ability to compare "Number of Lines in Message _Body_". That way when we have two messages with a different number of headers, we can ignore the difference.

MR Tech Toolkit

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@Gresik - Can you make that available for the rest of us? That would be much appreciated!

Organize Search Engines

Breaks Mycroft Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Trying to add search engines from mycroft pops up a blank window which doesn't allow install. I've emailed the developer back in Jan.2012, but I've received no response. There is another report of this issue in the comments here, and also on mycroft: https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=24788

Was excellent. Will change review if the problem is fixed.

MM3 Proxy Switch

Was Great, Now Not Working ... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I've used this for a long time, but I can't save the configuration on either Ubuntu 11.10 (as the previous reviewer mentioned) nor on OS/X (10.7.2). (4 stars until it gets fixed ...)

RefControl

Excellent, but only half a solution Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Only half the solution, to be sure - as has been commented before. Excellent on that half, but the other part is sorely missed.

So, if I am at a google search page, and click on a link to whatever.com, then this addon lets me control the referrer sent whatever.com. It does _not_ allow me to control all referrers sent to any site that I might link that search page at google.com. That's a headache. Some of my sites will be able to see my google search results and some won't, depending on whether I've coded them in to the addon. The only solution is to use the global default to block or uniformly spoof all referrers (at least to 3rd parties). Then, that default can be modified for specific sites.

Organize Search Engines

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

How could I function with a couple of hundred search engines, if not for OSE?

Thanks Doc!

(And notice that it's now integrated with the essential "Omnibar".)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).

Omnibar

Essential - Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The most absolutely essential addon that I've got - and I use 70 of them. For those of us with a couple of hundred search engines, the integration with "Organize Search Engines" is superb. I found that once my search engine list started to grow, I stopped selecting search engines in the drop-down. Instead, I just use the keyboard shortcuts. (y906 - I'll point out that you don't have to click on the folder for the search engines to show, you just have to drag your mouse over "Organized Search Engines".)

And, the developer is very responsive.

Don't miss this one!

URL2Titlebar

Use for Keepass or other PW Managers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This or Customize Titlebar is what you need for KeePass.Info, which can only respond to the title of the window in which it is going to insert the uname/password.

(I have not yet used it yet, so my rating is meaningless.)

Muttator

I'm ecstatic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OMG! Why'd it take me so long to find this and Vimperator??? This mouse is going in the _trash_.

Paste and Go 3

Middle click - open in new tab? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great, thanks for the extension!

How about if left click on the icon paste-and-goes to the present tab, but middle click paste-and-goes to a new foreground tab?

Domainav

Suggestion - Single Button Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great idea. Here's a suggestion - a single button. Left click goes back a domain, right click goes forward a domain. That saves us toolbar space. Even better - integrate it with the present back/forward page button. Make one single button - left click goes back a page, right click goes forward a page, middle click reloads page (or stops loading if the page is still loading). A down arrow on the side give a dropdown of visited pages. Then add to that - alt-left-click goes back a domain, alt-right-click goes forward a domain.

Secure Login

Autocomplete="off" Bug#245333 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent. There is a FF problem that does not allow saving passwords for some sites (autocomplete="off" bug):
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=245333

Notice at the bottom of that page is a fix, packaged as an extension, that is located at:
http://www.smart-roadster-club.de/off-topic/mozilla/extensions/activate-autocomplete/

Yay! Even more excellent now!

Smart Stop/Reload

Suggestion Rated 3 out of 5 stars

>just a suggestion... right click on it reloads, left stops?

Actually, since middle click kills a tab, I'd suggest using middle click as stop and left click as reload.

Combine Stop-Reload Buttons

Left/Middle click Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Since Middle click kills a tab, why not use middle click for stop? Use left click for reload?
