The Developer response to my Review was:
Video DownloadHelper downloads. For free.
Yes, this is true. BUT: Once you buy this, you find that most Youtube downloads come as .flv, which is not much use for playing on your computer.
OK, so they offer a Conversion Helper; great! Seems like another free item--and it is--EXCEPT that it leaves a watermark image on the download! To get rid of the watermark, it tells you to Register the program. Fine. So you start to do that, and FINALLY you learn this will cost you $28.50.
Is this not true, Mr Developer?
To me, this is sleazy and manipulative, sucking you in with inadequate information.
On the other hand, it is true that the final result appears to work well; if the information had been given clearly up front, I might have given 5 stars. Learn from this, Mr Developer!

DECEPTIVE--To get conversion without watermark to useable file, you have to pat $28.50. They suck you in with free promise.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed).
