Once was great; however, I don't see the advantage of rewriting URL's for possible typos. I don't want my URL's to be retyped. When I type a standard URL, such as 'nec.com', I don't want 'nbc.com' to pop up in front of me. NEC is obviously not trying to spoof people attempting to visit nbc.com.
Also, this feature has massive potential for abuse. I would hate to own a domain name that AdBlock rewrites by default. It makes me wonder of the cure is worse than the problem.
I believe that if users are to be protected from mistyped URL's, it shouldn't involve an automatic redirect. A popup might accomplish the job better.
If I could figure out how to disable this feature, I would. Instead I'll try some of the AdBlock forks.
