My Reviews

Always Right

Works well in current Nightly - but not in Private browsing mode Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on! Works perfectly in Nightly on Windows 7 both 32 and 64-bit OS and browsers. Sadly doesn't work in Nightly Private mode, which I prefer to have enabled as my startup default. Doesn't work in Nightly e10s Electrolysis mode, but no surprise there as that's just been resurrected. Can this add-on can be made to work in Nightly Private mode? Many thanks.

Download Manager Tweak

Love this Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Using Nightly. This add-on is very nice, thank you! Five stars!!! Wish list: 1) Option to open automatically whenever a download starts, 2) Option to open as the first tab on automatic open. Thank you for consideration of adding these two features. Great job.

Self-Destructing Cookies

Nice addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using SDC for some time now (Firefox Nightly). Trouble free! Would love to see "clean on shutdown" as others have mentioned. Also would love to see "edit whitelist" and "edit SDC's options" added to the icon's context menu. Small conveniences. Keep up the good work!

Jökulsárlón Download Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This was my #1 favorite add-on, and yes as others have written it stopped working in Nightly some versions ago (we're now at 26). Is it possible to fix so it works in the current Nightly? Like this add-on far and away better than the separate window Nightly opens. Thank you if you can make it work again.

Self-Destructing Cookies

Works Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does what it says. Two things I wish for: Click or right-click icon to brng up options and/or whitelist instead of having to go through the addons menus; export/import (with replace or merge) whitelist so I can easily keep my whitelist sync'd between computers.

EDIT: I'm still really liking this add-on. Only issue is the icon has disappeared for the options. I've disabled/enabled, removed/reinstalled, can't find the icon anywhere, including Customize. Not a huge deal as the options are available from the add-on page, but I really like right-clicking the icon and choosing how long to keep cookies.

Master Password+

Works well Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just found this and installed it for only one feature: To prompt me *once* for the master password at Firefox launch. I'd like to give five stars as this is working perfectly. But despite removing every timeout setting, inexplicably the master password locks a short time later. I really only want to have to enter it once for the browsing session, just like the native FF. A very nice bonus, the startup password prompt comes up *before* the first browser window opens. I like this a lot and would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. Also, a minor niggle with the 'about' pop-up box: It's too tall for my screen (netbook 1024x600) -- the title bar is off screen at the top and the bottom extends off screen. There are no resizing options, no scroll bars. Besides not being able to read it all, it's a bit of a trick to get it closed, as I can't grab the title bar until I use one of windows' tricks for bringing an 'offscreen' window back onto the desktop. Then I can close it.

EDIT: Thank you for reply. I did have that box still checked, as I thought it is for timing out the prompt at launch if no action is taken within the time period? (That would be a nice feature). Unchecking that box did the trick. I have modified my rating to five stars, as the one feature I'm using works perfectly now. Thank you.

switchproxytype

Change color and it's perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly! I'd happily give this 5 stars if the button color would change to show proxy status.
