In a little more detail...

AltanaESP Network activities and AltanaESP System processes, both require a plenty of online collaborations and access to different domains and websites. During an average working day, one has to rely heavily on a browser (for connection & website access) and email (for collaboration & discussions), implying that one cannot afford to use online applications that doesn't live up to expectations.

At AltanaESP Pty Ltd we prefer, and do find, that Firefox (browser) and Thunderbird (email client) provide us with the best and most trusted online performance and features. Another useful aspect is, both applications can be adapted, tweaked and extended to suit specific needs, meet particular criteria and accommodate customized functions by extending present application features with a number of available add-ons, plugins and/or extensions.

The collections created by AltanaESP Pty Ltd are the add-ons, plugins and/or extensions that we find to adequately enhance the core features of both Firefox and Thunderbird, to best serve our online requirements, standards and needs.

Thus, in the AltanaESP Pty Ltd context, the Firefox, Thunderbird and collections combination are the manner in which we compile and structure a set of efficient online tools, that we deploy to boost productivity levels and efficiency within the AltanaESP Network & System.

My Reviews

Saved Password Editor

Nerve protector Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I deal with a kizillion usernames/passwords combinations for different sites. Changing and/or editing passwords become a real nightmare, because you have to delete it and re-save the newer version. This becomes a trail-and-error exercise, sometimes it works, others times it doesn't. So much so, that I only edit/change password/username combinations if it is absolutely critical to do so. But, with Saved Password Editor, it is quick, easy and ALWAYS successful. A very useful add-on and protect my nerves from being shot to hell.

Arrogance Buster & Viva Choice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I find all this "stealth" tracking to be presumptuous and very arrogant, regardless the claims that it is for my benefit and to create a better web experience. Without tools such as Ghostery, I just have to accept, that I must share my surfing habit information with whom and who ever. I have no say in the matter... cause often, I don't know about it. With Ghostery I can now able to decide whether I don't mind to be tracked by a particular site and whether I do mind. I have the choice to disable tracking. Sure, once tracking/cookies are disabled on a site, some display disruptions might occur. So be it... I now have a choice with whom I am prepared and willing to share information.

Limit Browsing Frustration Rated 5 out of 5 stars

More the rule than exception, when using Firefox, is that I have on average about 15 tabs open simultaneously. Frustrating to try and locate the web page (i.e. tab) I am looking for. But since FabTabs, which simulate website colors on tabs, is installed it is a lot easier and less frustrating to locate the tab I am looking for. For example, when I want to go to Twitter I just search amongst the light blue tabs. Nice! Incidentally, favicon displays are better defined and tab text contrasts are effective, the latter is also handy features that makes locating tabs less of a frustration.

Clean Subject

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

What irritates me quite a bit, is sending emails with a subject line cluttered with RE: and FW:'s. I always clean-up the subject line first. Thankfully this extension does it on my behalf and I can carry on to compile the email without the irritation of a kizillion RE: & FW:'s that need to be cleaned up first.

Google Shortcuts - All Google Services at a glance

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nifty extension and very useful. Before installing this extension, I waste time to allocate and make use of my favourite Google services. Since I installed this extension, all Google services are just a drop down click away. For me... a real time saver. Thanks for this handy extension.
