NOTE TO DEVELOPER: I couldn't sign up for Bitbuket because of some type of conflict with add-ons that I wasn't able to resolve, so I am posting this here:
I would like to change over to Adblock Edge from Adblock Lite since you will be discontinuing support for the latter, but it says Edge is unavailable for my platform (Mac).
Will there eventually be a compatible version? Any help, suggestions, or alternatives would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!
2 stars for the concept, but if I have to disable NoScript (allow all globally) to get this add-on to work then it is of no use. NoScript blocks 95%+ of the sites that are tracking you in the first place. They can't track you if their scripts aren't even executed. Also, for those worried about tracking cookies, build up a good deny list in your FFX preferences (set it to ask you if you want to allow a cookie or not). Make sure you also have something that deletes LSOs. I only worry about IP address logging.
I want to re-state that the concept for this is really cool and can be something very interesting if executed correctly and accurately, but I would never disable NoScript to use it.

This works perfectly fine with NoScript. Your conflict must be elsewhere. Why give a 1 star review before fully trouble shooting? The problem is not with this add-on
It is still possible to use RefControl in the status bar. Just right-click to customize your toolbar, and then drag the RefControl button down to the status bar. Works like a charm.
The best tool for the job. Compact, simple UI, works beautifully. Keep up the great work! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1).

First, I don't blame the original developer, Deepesh, for selling his extension. He was probably given an offer he couldn't refuse. After looking over the TOS and Privacy declarations for their "Best Video Downloader", I have to agree with some other reviewers that I am more than a little wary of the new developer. My previous reviews were of "Best Video Downloader", which I now realize is a separate installation altogether. Hence, I needed to revise my review. Yes, Alactro LLC, I saw your response below concerning your safety ratings, but your TOS and Privacy statements for "Best Video Downloader" make me more than a little uncomfortable with even using the "basic" version of this extension. When v4.1 breaks, I will be looking elsewhere...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.1). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
