FindBar Tweak

FF54 beta has the scrollbar matches on the left side Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Is this due to the mentioned developer changes from the release notes? And/or is this the beginning of the end for the new API? Help us Quicksaver, you're our only hope... :-P

To retain the original highlighted curved tab (for the current tab)... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since I see many complaining about the square tabs...there is an easy workaround to restore the current tab to be curved. It never bothered me much in itself; I was more concerned with easily discerning the current tab in use. The option to 'Highlight the currently selected tab' doesn't help, and the Fading feature doesn't help enough. Note; I only use the 'color tabs by domain hostname' feature. Back when Australis came to be, the currently selected tab showed up like the FF default highlighted curved tab. But later versions of CT changed that, so I modified the clrtabs.css file until signed add-ons were (fully) required.

There's an easy workaround; use v23.9.

Shiv, it would be great if the 'Highlight the currently selected tab' could replicate how the current tab is shown in v23.9. Or, maybe it could be an option to toggle it with Fading.

Thanks for an otherwise great add-on!

FindBar Tweak

Been using for years...great, except... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

'Highlight All' by default won't work on one of my PCs.
I tried resetting with defaults, disabling, and removing the Extension; 'Highlight All' still wouldn't default on. I can manually enable it on the Findbar, so then I checked about:config and found "findbar.highlightAll" set to false; enabling it fixed the issue. So FindBar Tweak is no longer able to set that parameter; perhaps a Firefox or Extension change?

<Update:> beta has fixed the (continued) issues; for those looking for it... https://github.com/Quicksaver/FindBar-Tweak/releases

reduce IFrame

I've been using this for years to strip out ads/etc. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

...but in FF47 beta, it appears to no longer work. I'll also mention that the settings and White List structure is confusing. Is this add-on still supported?

Australis Slimmr

I have been using this since Australis was in beta... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

...on Win7, Win10, and Arch Linux. And I love it. Not much else to say! Even when I'm quick-testing a live linux image, I install this before using firefox. :-)

Download Panel Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After using lots of different download add-ons, and more recently comparing many more, I settled on this one. My three primary requirements are:
1. Open the Downloads when the download begins
2. Open them in a tab
3. Make the list more compact
Something that has become more and more apparent, though, is that no matter what I do, all my relatives' can not understand that downloading is not installing. So I have a request for your consideration...
4. Have an optional 'Install' button when the download completes, or something...?

Otherwise, thanks for a great and simple add-on!

Find Toolbar Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After 2.5 years, FF25 beta (and its Findbar changes, I presume) has broken this great Add-on. I've now switched to Findbar Tweaks. We'll always have Paris... :)

Image Zoom

I have been using this extension since before FF1.5 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was, in fact, the first one I started using. I use it exclusively for being able to quickly zoom in/out of an image with the rightclick+mousewheel. Is this going to get updated to officially support FF13 (note I am using it just fine w/ v13), as well as to finally fix the zombie container memory leak? ...posted here:
Thanks for a great, and simple, mod!

Group Sort Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This was exactly what I had been looking for; unfortunately I found it a couple days before FF 3.6 came out; is there going to be a compatibility update? Thanks!

Compact Menu 2

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have installed this on five PC's; one of them seems to have the issue that Anarisuto mentioned. I do not get any of the buttons (icon nor text) in the Customize menu. This particular install may well have used several mods over the past year or two, so I'd guess that some previous mod I'd tried is why this isn't working properly. I have just now tried uninstalled FF, incl all the personal settings, and then deleted all firefox-related directories and files, reinstalled Compact Menu 2, and the problem persists. All the other machines I've put it on set it up just fine.
