Breathes life into a feature that is impossible to use otherwise. The ability to select multiple tabs and move them to another group all at once is extremely welcome as well. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
While this addon addresses most of the issues I have with Copy Tab URLs, it shares with it the lack of a feature that is my one and only use case: I need a way to copy the URLs of the current tab group only.
A more contrived but also potentially useful feature would be copying the URLs from current tab groups across all windows (that is, all "visible" tabs).
Aside from that, this extension is very nice.
First of all, I didn't expect to find it in the Edit menu. I expected it to be in the tabbar's context menu (the most natural place IMO). Not finding it there, I checked Tools and File menus and the list of custom toolbar buttons. I only found it by simply going through every menu in FF.
Second, it ignores tab groups and copies URLs of all tabs you have open in the current window. This defeats its whole purpose for me personally. Well, at least it doesn't list tabs across all windows. IMO It would benefit from having options for both "current tab group only" and "all tabs in all windows". Maybe something more exotic like "current tab groups across all windows" as well.
Aside from all that, well, it works as advertized.
Small, doesn't require a restart, provides all relevant settings. A perfect fix for a problem that Mozilla shouldn't have created in the first place. Thank you so much! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Just why exactly can't I remove the AH button from the navigation toolbar? Why can't I move it to the menu toolbar? I disabled the nav toolbar ages ago, it took me some time to figure out why the AH button didn't appear and why it isn't in the Customize toolbar.
