Very innovative. I'm having difficulty with the controls. Not sure what they do or how they work, and they seem a bit buggy. But very nice. I'd like to see this for my main browser, Opera. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
Any chance you can include Gmail in this? Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4).
Definitely doing something - what, I'm not sure. FF drops to 14M now when idle, but then jumps up to 159M for little apparent reason. Also, some instructions would be helpful, like how to "view task manager in sidebar", how to configure for other apps, etc. Sorry if I'm dense, but these things are not clear to me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.5).
Not sure if this extension is supported any longer, so thanks to Frank for what was a very helpful extension during its hay-day, and thanks to thekitehunter below for a new way to edit mail in TB3.
Superb. Great job. Working beautifully here, FF 3.6 on XP.
Thanks and blessings.
Surprisingly well-designed, powerful, compact, configurable and extensible. Good job!
One request: would it be possible to optionally implement commas as thousands separators in the output? All those small numbers are hard for my eyes to collate.
Searching via context menu is one of the most important functions in the browser, and DS does it with the best combination of simplicity and effectiveness.
I only wish that more than four engines could be added, and perhaps optional submenus.
A very nice, simple and elegant black theme, with enough tinting throughout not to be overbearingly monotone. Works on FF 3.6 with force install.
I wish it were available for Thunderbird.
This is a great add-on. Once you get into keyboard mode, you will realize that the mouse is a time- and wrist-waster for many navigational functions. Very configurable, and works with bookmarklets too.
Very elegant. Bravo.
Nice soothing color scheme. Very well done. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.4).
This would be great if updated, but a force install on 3.6 gave me a persistent phantom toolbar. Thankfully an uninstall removed it.
This is the best scroller I've encountered. The controls are very easy to understand and very effective.
I have so many extensions that I'm loathe to add another, but this one is worth it. Great job. Blessings.
Fantastic job, Phillip. I force installed it in TB3 and it appears to be working wonderfully. Thank you!
Very nice. Would you consider allowing SS to define multiple search engines? That way it could encompass dictionary, news, shopping, etc. The user could do the site configuration.
This has always been a great addon for TB, but even with today's 4.3 update it's not working at all in TB 3. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.3.0).
Just installed 0.2.1 on 3.5.2. Working beautifully here. Works well with RoboForm and StumbleUpon bars.
Suggest option to hide title bar as well. Very nice.
Not working presently in 3.0 b2, but I trust that's a matter of syncing with the new version.
Fantastic concept, looks great. Just what I need to mass-mail to Craig's List potential buyers when I have sold something. Thanks!
Very nice tool, but two ways to improve it:
1) The separate menu has got to go. Please, screen space is at a premium. If every addon claimed its own menu, what would happen? I may uninstall for this reason alone.
*** Note, I subsequently found the toggle for this under advanced tweaks. I'll amend my request to having the setting a little more prominent. There's no need on a four-tab dialog for a hidden advanced dialog. ***
2) support for launching current-page bookmarklets would be appreciated.
This is perfect. Configurable, then one-click. No menu diving. Way to go. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.8).
