Collector's Note Minimises Firefox to tray instead of closing it. But I prefer another addon called "Tray Hotkey" which also allows you to set the transparency of a firefox window; A function that you can use to view youtube videos in another browser as you use a transparent FF window on top of it.

A simple note-taking extension.

Session Manager by Michael Kraft
164 users
Session Manager saves and restores the state of all or some windows - either when you want it or automatically at startup and after crashes. It can also automatically save the state of open windows individually.
Collector's Note You can also use Tab Mix Plus's Session manager instead of this. But the advantages of Session manager are 1. More powerful, Stores more sessions 2. If you also have the addon "Session Manager Export tool" then you can export and save your sessions.

Color Transform by Peter J. Sloetjes, MSc.
5 users
Transform the colors of entire web pages or selected elements. Combine predefined themes with basic transforms. Save transforms for specific web domains.
Collector's Note In this list you will find the following addons to alter the look of a webpage 1. Color Transform 2. Blank Your Monitor 3. Textise 4. Column Reader 5. Tranquility 6. Readable. 7. No Squint Out of these BLANK YOUR MONITOR is my favourite because it is extremely fast at transforming the appearance of a page. It changes the page as per your settings within an eyeblink of your pressing the button. COLOR TRANFORM is almost equally fast, it has the advantage of being a lot more customisable; But Color Transform requires you to click on its button twice(rather than once like Blank your monitor) i.e once to open the pop-up that lists the various kinds of layouts you can choose, the second time to select a layout. TEXTISE simply gives you a text-only version of a webpage which is useful if you want to save a webpage, but you can also use it to improve the readability of the page. COLUMN READER: If you read extremely long wikipedia articles, you will like Column Reader. For simple one or two pages long articles you should use either TRANQUILITY or READABLE..... Column Reader, Tranquility and Readable all take a longer time than the other addons to remove the clutter from a webpage. Column Reader takes the longest time, but improves readability the most from among Column Reader, Readable and Tranquility - this is why its time consuming transformation is worth it only on longer pages and research articles. 7. NO SQUINT: Allows you to zoom in/out of a page. What is special about it is that you can zoom the page separately and zoom the font size of the text separately and Save the settings!. So you can enlarge the text more than you enlarge the images if you so desire. The ability to save website specific settings is unique to No Squint from among the 7 addons I have described. [My preference: Use Blank your Monitor for small pages and Column Reader for longer pages like Research papers etc.. Blank your monitor is sufficient for most purposes once you have customised a webpage using No Squint and saved the settings]
