Love this toy and have been Stumbling through the internet for about 3 years now. If I have to reinstall for whatever reason, this is the first extension I install. THe best laughs, the most beautiful art, etc.

Best Thing Since: Modern Fuel Economic Vehicles, Indoor Plumbing, and Organic Sliced Bread all Rolled into One! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been a big stumbler since 2007, ever since a coworker told me about this terrific Firefox add-on. Stumble Upon works and fits, amazingly well for a bunch of very different needs (firstly, you customize the page with items interesting to you after the initial sign up). For instance, if you have a few hours to kill while waiting for the plans you made to start, try stumbling through the video option (the hours will fly by and before you know it, it’s time to walk out the door). Looking for a particular website or video everyone is talking about? Always try searching SU (stumble upon) first, because if it's popular, chances are SU has already had it added to their HUGE database by one of their 10+ Million stumblers! And even if you are just bored, SU is a great way to see what other people, from all over enjoy watching, and it’s also very fun to come across new media that no one has given thumbs up to yet. Ever since I first stumbled that day after work, I don't think 3 or 4 whole days have gone by where I didn't try to convince a friend or coworker (even random people I meet out) to download and sign up. And to this day I have had nothing but great, positive feedback telling me how much they all enjoy this program. I only wish I were qualified to work for Stumble Upon in their Marketing department, because I know I would/could sell the heck out of this fantastic, internet playground/learning device, because there truly is something for everyone. Thank you everyone at Stumble Upon for doing a wonderful job, on such a wonderful product!

p.s. Besides Stumble Upon, the only other significant internet entertainment/education site I use, is a movie rental/watcher one. Even though I pay for the privilege to use it, hands down I stumble more than anything else!

I love stumbling !
I see some great stuff I'd never of seen before.
I'd like to see some new content and just a stumble button with a drop down menu instead of a big tool bar.

Well I've been using Stumble add-on for a long while now and have to say I find it quite useful for randomly coming across sites that people would otherwise miss.

Also the person who said that most of the content is from 2002, I guess they haven't used it much for them to say that as there is always new content being added by other members.

OK this addon I've been using since August of '06 and don't like the direction SU is taking with the addon or the
stumbleupon content itself, most of what you "stumble"
is outdated such as much of the content from 2002.
And the toolbar has changed so much that a lot of the things I liked upon joining are now gone...as well as most of the longtime stumblers... to tumblr or posterous.
It's a shame as this used to be cool.

No global namespace Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This add-on is just a mess on the number of functions it opens up public chrome. JSShell counts 647 functions 'and such'.

Hi there, I was a frequent user of stumbleupon for a long time until I went on a break from it. Now I'm trying to get back but the stumbles that people have sent me keep me from looking at new pages to stumble. Please implement something that can skip over all of the sent things. I have over 500+ I don't want to click through.

This toolbar makes surfing the web and bookmarking on StumbleUpon so much easier. Integration is excellent.

Not sure what happened here, but the add-on was acting a bit buggy so I uninstalled it... or so I thought. Every time I uninstalled, even in Safe Mode, it was reinstalled and ready to use when Firefox opened again. Had to go into my profile and uninstall manually. Hopefully this will be fixed in future versions...

Terriblle! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This version is terrible! Since i updated it's been randomly disappearing from my browser, not even appearing in my add on list. I've had to redownload it everytime I wanted to use it. Now it appears in my list but it doesnt show up on the browser even though it's been enabled

Won't work for me Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Sounds great but I cannot see the tool bar. It's listed under Tools, Add-ons, StumbleUpon 3.63, but won't show up in the browser, Firefox 3.6.2, so I can't use it. I've uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, but can't get it to work.

Well, sometimes it shut down the browser but maybe there is something wrong with the installation. Overall for sure a good addon.

I just posted a review but i forgot to put in that it would be a good idea to install the WOT (web of trust) add-on, also from firefox, to check whether the site, blog, etc. you just stumbled upon is good or bad - with spam and adult content and whatever

I don't know what those one star ratings are. This is one of the awesomest (don't think that's a word lol) add-ons ever! I've found so much stuff that has both entertained and interested me, whether it was a funny video or new music. I haven't had any system crashes and I've had it for almost a year now. I totally recommend this add-on. It's also great when you have absolutely nothing to do.

Sad to say so Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Stumbleupon has in the past been a fantastic addon to have but as time passed, the changes made to the addon and the stumbleupon community/system its self have significantly degraded the utility/functionality of stumbleupon as a whole. From the odd choice of redesigning a perfectly functional SU blog layout to one that is poorly designed and less functional to frequent server availability problems, problems with login authentication, poor stumble algorithms that make certain tags not worth stumbling (the stumbler tag being by far the most notorious), the elimination of the friend limit (apparently in a bid to be more like Myspace and Facebook) while limiting or removing useful features. I have been a part of stumbleupon very nearly since its beginnings and at this point the SU system and addon have degraded to the point of being useless. To top it all off, the latest update is essentially broken. It will not allow me to login at all. This seems to be limited to Firefox
