Not working - crashes Firefox Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Tried it - crashes both - Firefox Developer Edition, and Firefox regular browser. It happens once I try to open the "Defuscator" tab in Developer Tools.

Thanks indeed... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's great to see a new version! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful to see how things work. A must have for JS developers. There is much space for improvements, but this is a new beginning. Keep up the good work!

I concur. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I rate 5 stars because this addon has brought me much joy and has helped me to figure out the workings of many lines of other devs' massive javascript codes, but as of Firefox 33 and since 33.0.1 opening the tool just warrants a sad blank window with "No scripts to be display. Try opening a website."

- even when the website I open is my own simpleton's javascript in a blog, it doesn't detect one line firing.

JavaScript Deobfuscator 2.0 is out, you can get it from https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/javascript-deobfuscator/versions while AMO is reviewing it. Making it work with newer Firefox versions was everything but trivial.

Works really well!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A perfect tool for understanding minified/obsfuscated scripts! Perhaps the only feature that would make this even better would be to be able to point to a specific (javascript) file that would be deobsfuscated in full regardless of whether it is executed. Or perhaps a new tab where it would be possible to paste an obsfuscated script for deobsfuscation.

Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been looking for this for so long!
It's not flashy, styled, or dare I say polished, but very functional, and shows you real time what's happening. Extremely helpful.

Works, but not very well. Could use some improvements:
-Show what variable(s) an anonymous function is assigned to so it can be backtraced.
-Clean up the code. There are still globs with hundreds of statements per line.
Also, nothing is showing up in the "Executed Scripts" tab.

Well as a proprietary javascript developer, I am happy to see that it couldn't deobfuscate my code. But still a very cool tool to watch how things execute

Thank you.

Wonderful idea with some performance issues Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This tool was exactly what I was looking for when trying to troubleshoot some issues with our proxy server.
However, it easily causes Firefox to use up 100% of one of my CPU cores and makes Firefox fail to respond for seconds at a time.
For example, try visiting www.marketwatch.com which is pretty JavaScript heavy and watch your processors go wild.
I think this tool still has a place but anyone using it should be careful to create filters before hitting an active page.
